"For
Yours is the Kingdom".
Over the past few weeks, we have examined the Family Prayer
and what each of the clauses or sentences we pray really mean
so that we understand what we pray and it will be more meaningful
to our spirits what we pray for. This week, we will review what
the last sentence in the prayer declares to us and how it can
edify our souls. Interestingly enough, this sentence is not
found in the earlier manuscripts.

Chronicles 11:2-4: This Is the Lord's Doing?
After the ten northern tribes
had renounced their allegiance to King Rehoboam, the son of
Solomon, Rehoboam decided that he would force these renegades
to submit to his sovereignty and to pay the taxes which were
their reason for leaving. This would have pitted brother against
brother in open civil war.
