"Are you hungry?" Justin asked as he walked into the den.
Misty turned towards him and her jaw dropped to the floor. He only wore a pair of gray sweat pants that rode low on his hips which displayed a nice view of his hipline swooping under the waistband. His curls were still damp, his feet were bare and she could smell his fresh scent from the shower he just took. "I'm starving," she finally managed to say.
The corner of his lips twitched up. She looked absolutely adorable. Her hair was wet from her shower and the damp strands fell over her shoulders and down her back. She had on a pair of blue and white plaid pajama pants and a white tanktop. "I'm in the mood for something sweet," he said.
"Well, I think we have ice cream and stuff....we could make sundaes."
"Perfect," he said as he held out a hand and then kissed the back of it, before he led her to the kitchen.
Misty pulled out the vanilla ice cream, while Justin
stuck his head in the fridge. "Hmm," he said as his eyes roamed the shelves. "We got chocolate sauce...a definite must....whip cream...even
better....OH, and ya'll even have cherries!"
Misty laughed. "Of course, I love cherries. The fridge is always equipped with them. We have chopped nuts too I think."
Justin wrinkled his nose in disgust as he placed the jar of cherries on the counter. "Nuts get in the way...gross."
"I don't like nuts either....at least on my sundaes." She then pulled out two bowls and placed them on the counter and then pulled a ice cream scooper from the drawer.
"My mom would always make them in the summer," Justin said as he squirted the whip cream. "So whenever I eat a sundae it takes me back to Tennesse."
"Do you miss it?" she asked as she plopped a cherry on top of her sundae and then walked over to the other counter and jumped up on the flat surface.
"Yeah, I do," he said as he did the same and sat next to her. "It's hard...the business we're in, but it's worth it."
"Does it ever get tiring?" she asked and then ate her first bite.
"Sure," he said with a shrug. "You go to school right?" She nodded. "Well, kind of like that. I mean, I'm sure you have your days where you love what you learn and love the atmosphere, but sometimes you're just sick of it, ya know?"
"Know exactly what you mean," she said. "But whenever I see you perform on TV, you can see how much you like it....It's in your eyes...your expression."
He smiled softly and then playfully dipped his finger in his whip cream and tapped it on her nose. "Thanks."
She laughed as she wiped the cream off with her finger and then casually licked it off. "Thanks," she said dryly.
"Cherry?" he asked as he held up his. He watched her grin and then open her mouth open as she tilted her chin up. He dangled it from her mouth, slowly lowering it to her and then suddenly pulling it out of her reach.
"No teasing," she laughed as she reached up and grabbed his arm to keep him still, so she could leaned up and take the cherrie from her mouth.
"Good?" he asked as he raised his brows.
"Mmm, very good," she said as she chewed slowly. She then took out her cherry and held it up to him.
He swooped his head under the cheerie and grabbed it with his mouth, and looked at her before he tugged it off the stem. "That's tasty," he said softy and then leaned over and touched her sweet lips with his. "Even better," he said and then took her mouth again, tasting her deeply.
