The girls found the bathroom and got themselves all dolled up again. Their hair looked terrible because it was rubbing up against the back of the airplane seat. Melissa was always brushing her hair, so this was totally normal for her. Cierra's hair always managed to stay in the same spot so she didn't spend much time throughout the day going back and fixing her hair.
After they fixed their hair and lipstick the walked out of the bathroom and headed to the front, where they were gonna take a cab to a little Seafood place that JC said was near his house. When they got to the front, there was a big limo there and a guy was standing by the back passenger's door. He saw the two girls come out and then walked up to them.
"Excuse me ladies, would you two happen to be Cierra and Melissa?" he asked.
Cierra looked at Missy and said, "yes we are."
"I have been asked by Mr. Joshua Chasez to give you a ride to his place."
"Really?" Missy said.
"Yes mam'. May I take your luggage?"
Cierra and Missy picked up their little bags and said, "we'll carry these thank you." Then the guy carried the rest of their bags and put them in the trunk of the limo. He then opened the door and let them in.
Melissa and Cierra had never been in a limo before. They were totally fascinated by it. They played with the radio system, and poured themselves a soda. It was very spacious so they sprawled out all over the place. As they checked out the window at the sites, they saw the little restaurant that JC had told them about. They drove for about twenty minutes before they came to a complete stop. They looked out the window and saw a nice beige apartment place. It was more or less like a duplex. It was three stories and had a two-car garage.
"Wow, this is nice. I guess this is our stop." Missy said as she leaned over to open the door. Just as she was about to open it, it opened. She almost fell out the door.
"Sorry mam' I didn't know you were right there," the driver said.
Missy and Cierra laughed at what almost happened. It was definitely something that would happen to them on a normal basis. "It's ok, I didn't know you were going to open the door!" Missy said back.
"It's my job," he said with a smile. "This is Mr. Chasez's place. He told me to give you ladies this," he handed them a key and a piece of paper with a number on it. "And he said just to take the room on the bottom floor. He'll call home in a little while to check up on you." Cierra took the stuff and then asked the driver where JC was. "He had to run to the studio I do believe."
"Oh, ok, well thank you!"
The driver opened the trunk and took out their bags. "Let me help you ladies carry this inside," he said. They walked to the front door, bags in hand, and Cierra punched in the number then put the key in. They opened the door and the driver put their stuff right inside the door, told them to have a nice day, and then left.
Cierra and Melissa just stood there for a minute. They shut the door and just looked. There was a staircase that went up two other floors, and a hallway to the right. They walked down the hallway with their bags and found the bedroom that JC told them they could use. It had two twin beds in it. They set their bags in there and then made their way back to the living room.
"I wanna look around!" Missy said. She always loved walking through people's houses, just to see what was in them. They walked through the living room and to a short hallway off to the left. There was a door that led into a kitchen. The kitchen seemed like both sides shared it because there was another door on the other side of the room.
"That must be where his roommates live," Cierra said.
"Yeah, I guess so!"
After they looked through the bottom floor they headed upstairs. They found JC's room. It was nice. His bed was huge and was placed almost in the middle of the room. The girls snooped around a little more but then ended up back downstairs in the living room waiting for JC to call.
"C - I need to borrow a recording tape!" a guy yelled through the kitchen door. Seconds later a guy walked through the door. Both Cierra and Melissa's heads turned at his initial yell. He saw the two girls sitting on the couch and was about to turn back around, but he stopped instead. "Hello ladies. You must be C's guests for the week. He's told me a lot about you both."
The girl stood up and walked towards him. Melissa stuck out her hand and he stuck out his. "I'm Missy."
"Ah, Lance's girl. He speaks highly of you. He was here last night actually and he mentioned you."
A smile washed over her face. "Really?" she said.
"Yes, really. So that means you are the lovely Cierra," he said as he shook Cierra's hand.
"Yes, I do believe I am Cierra," she said with a twinkle in her eye.
"No wonder JC was so glad about you coming," he said as he gave her the look over. "I mean, you seem really nice!" he said trying to cover up his first thought.
"Thanks, I think," Cierra said back.
"So yeah, did I mention that I am Alex?" he said.
"No, you hadn't mentioned that yet. But I assumed that's who you were," Cierra said to him. She had talked about him once with JC online.
"Oh, has JC mentioned me?!" he said with some excitement.
"Ha! Yes, we have spoke of you before. I am trying to get to know a little bit about all of his friends so I know what and whom he is talking about when he mentions y'all to me."
"Sounds like a good idea."
"She's a smart girl," Missy said in response to that whole conversation.
Alex sat down and talked with them for awhile and even let out a few secrets on JC. If he knew the things that Alex was telling him, he would have strangled him. It wasn't anything big, just little secrets of his younger days.
The girls had been there for about an hour when the phone rang. Alex was still there so he went over and answered the phone.
"Hello," he said.
"Alex?"
"Hey C, it's me."
"Hey, are the girls there yet?"
"Yeah, they have been here for about an hour," then he whispered, "they are hot dude!"
JC chuckled a little and then said, "I know. Ha! Keep your hands off, they are both spoken for," he joked.
"You know me," he said.
"Yes, that's why I said that!"
"Oh whatever C! When are you gonna be back?" Alex asked.
"Uhm," JC looked at his watch, "probably about an hour. Tell the girls to go put on something nice. Lance and I are taking them out when we get home."
"Will do. Can I stay and watch?" he joked back at JC just to get a raz out of him.
"Funny man. Get outta my house!" he said back with laughter in his voice. "You're as bad as Joey!"
"Ok, that's it! I'm hanging up!" and Alex hung up the phone. JC thought 'that jerk' as he hung up his phone too.
Alex walked back over to the girls and told them to go get dressed up because the guys would be there in an hour to take them out.
"Ok, thanks Alex! It was nice meeting you. I'm sure we'll see you again this week." Missy said.
"I'm sure we will!" he said and then walked out. The girls headed back to their rooms and started to get ready for an evening out with JC and Lance.
They took their seat at the booth and the waitress came up to them and asked them what t hey wanted to drink. She gave them their menus, brought them their drinks and then headed to the back while they made their decisions.
"I am famished, but I have no clue what I want," Cierra said as she looked through the menu.
"I don't know what I want either," Melissa said back.
"Well, just order whatever you want. The food here is really good, so I am sure that you'll be pleased with whatever," JC said.
Cierra looked through the menu again and then put her finger on one of the meals. She then closed her menu and let everyone know that she had decided. The waitress came back and took their orders. JC and Lance were definitely of the male sex because they ordered more food than both Cierra and Melissa combined!
After eating and talking for quite some time, they finally finished their meals and were ready to head out. It was then that Cierra looked over and noticed the small area in the corner where people were dancing to the slow music that filled the room. She looked over at JC and he asked her if she wanted to dance. Lance did the same. The four of them got up and headed over to the corner.
It wasn't a real dance floor. It was just a small section of the restaurant that was secluded off for people to dance. It was covered with a mauve rug, and there were candles that lit each corner of it. Only a few people were there dancing, about fourteen including Lance, Missy, JC, and Cierra.
They took the floor and the music started. JC took Cierra in his arms and she had never felt so safe. Being in his arms gave her the most unbelievable feeling in the world. She felt like they were the only two people in whole room and that nothing could tear them apart. JC pulled her close and whispered the words to the song into her ear. "I'll be right here waiting for you..."
Lance and Melissa swayed softly to the sound of the music and Lance loved the way it felt to have Missy's arms around his neck. No other girl had ever made him so happy. Melissa looked into his eyes and then gave him a light kiss on his lips then rested her head back onto his chest.
The song ended and the four of them parted and left the floor, went down the two steps, then went back to the table. Lance picked up the check and they headed to the front. They paid for their meal and waited for their car to be brought back up to the front. As they waited, Missy and Lance held hands. JC had Cierra standing in front of him with his arms wrapped around her waist and their hands were locked.
The guy drove their car up and JC got into the drivers seat, Cierra into the passengers, and Missy and Lance got into the back.
"So I guess we are going back to my house eh?" JC asked.
"I'd think so," Melissa chuckled.
"Well, then that's where we're off to!' JC said back.
The car came to a stop as they pulled up into JC's driveway. Everyone got out and made their way up the walk. Lance and Melissa were hand in hand, and JC had his arms around Cierra as he walked behind her. He let get of her and stepped up to the door to put in his code. The door opened and the four of them walked in.
"Whoa, it's cold in here C. What were you thinking?" Lance said.
JC wrapped his arms around himself and said, "I dunno. Maybe Alex was in here or something. Let me go fix this." JC walked down the hall and looked at the temp gauge and then set it so that everyone wouldn't freeze.
Cierra and Melissa passed JC in the hall. "Babe we're gonna change into something else. Alright?" Cierra said.
"Yeah, get comfy."
The girls opened the door to their room, went in, then shut it behind them. Cierra sat on the bed and took off her shoes. Melissa walked over to the vanity and began to take off her jewelry.
Cierra lay back on the bed and spread her arms out above her head. "This is such a dream come true Mis," she said.
"Oh I know girl. A couple months ago if you would have told me that we would be spending the night in JC's house and that we would be dating them... I would have told you you were delusional. This just all seems too good to be true."
Cierra let out a small sigh and then sat up. "Well it's not a dream. It's reality, and a reality that I am proud to be living in right now!" She jumped up and went over to the drawer that she put her clothes in. She took out a pair of boxer shorts and a cute little baby-t.
Melissa on the other hand got herself more comfy in a pair of boxers and a big baggy shirt. She pulled her hair back and put a small barrette on the top to keep her bangs from falling into her face.
The girls walked out into the living room to see Lance and JC sitting on the couch talking. They had both taken off their blazers and just wore the slacks and white button up shirts.
"Wow, you gals really did go get comfy," JC said.
Cierra looked herself over and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. Should we put on like real clothes? I thought we were staying here so it'd be alright to put on PJs."
JC stood up and took Cierra into his arms. He kissed her on the forehead and said, "no, this is fine. I like it."
Cierra looked up at him and told him, "good!"
Melissa went over and sat next to Lance and he leaned in closer and put his arms around her. He felt that her arms were still a little cold so he ran his hands up and down them to try to warm them a little.
"So, are we gonna do anything C or are we just gonna chill?" Lance asked as he rubbed Missy's arms.
JC ran his fingers through his hair and then said, "hmm, I dunno. I don't really know what there is to do." He looked at Cierra and said, "sorry I am such a boring date." She smiled back at him. "Well, we could always play some pool."
"I don't know how to play pool," Missy said.
"Me either," Cierra said.
"Good! Gives us something to teach ya!" JC said as he got up. "Come on. To the play room it is." And with that they all headed towards the room with the pool table.
The alarm clock rang and JC rolled out of bed. It was 8 o'clock. He was supposed to meet Justin at 9 so that they could review one more time what they had to talk about during the teleconference that morning. He got up and dressed and then went downstairs to get something to eat. He was trying to be really quiet so that he didn't wake up the girls. He knew that they would want some sleep.
He rummaged through the refrigerator and cabinets until he found something that he wanted. Then he sat at the table and ate. He also drank him a huge glass of milk. He checked his watch, picked up his mess and then headed for the door. Before he walked out he grabbed a sheet of paper and a pen.
CiCi,
I ran out for a little while. Get something to eat and get into your swimsuits. I'll be home soon and then we can all head out. Talk to you soon.
Take care,
-C
JC shut and locked the door and then walked to his car. He hit the alarm button and it made a quick ringing noise. He then jumped into the car and took off. It took him about ten minutes to get to Justin's. When he got there Justin was sitting at the table eating his cereal. JC knocked on the door and then walked on in. Justin looked up and nodded his head as JC entered the room. He had a mouth full of food and a glass of milk in his hand. He took a sip of the milk to clear his mouth and then greeted JC.
"Hey C, you're on time," he said as he looked at his watch.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"Aren't the girls staying at your place?" he said jokingly.
JC smirked. "Why yes they are. We had a hot and wild night, the three of us, so I am quite tired," he laughed.
"Funny C!" Justin said back.
"They are still sleeping. I figured I'd get out of the house before I dropped something and woke them up," he said. JC was quite the clumsy one in the morning.
"Let me finish my cereal and then we can work on what we're gonna say," Justin said as he shoveled food into his mouth.
"Alright," JC said back as he leaned back in the chair and waited for Justin to finish.
Meanwhile back at the house the girls were slowly starting to wake up. Cierra rolled over in bed and opened her eyes a little. She glanced over at the clock and saw that it wasn't even nine. She turned over and lay on her back. Cierra just stared at the ceiling and thought about everything. Thoughts drifted in and out of her mind and before she knew it she had fallen asleep again.
About an hour later Missy sat up in bed. She looked over to see Cierra still sleeping. Missy climbed out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. She went in and took a shower and then came back out and sat on her bed. The water must have woken up Cierra because she was starting to rustle around in her bed.
"Are you awake Ci?" Missy asked.
"Mmm hmm," Cierra kind of mumbled back.
"It's ten o'clock. You might want to get up and take a shower. JC should be getting back in about an hour."
"Alright," she said with her eyes still shut.
"Cierra... get up!" Missy yelled as she walked towards Cierra.
"I am I am," Cierra said and she sat up in bed. She rubbed her eyes and then looked around the room. "I'm gonna go take a shower. You wanna go make us some food or something?"
"Sure. What do you want?"
"Uhm, just make me a bowl of cereal. I am not that hungry."
"Ok," Missy said and then headed out of the room.
Cierra climbed out of her bed and slowly made her way to the bathroom. She turned on the water and slowly rid herself of her clothing and got in.
Missy walked into the kitchen and saw the note that JC had left. 'Swim suits' she thought to herself. I guess we're gonna get wet on this little boat ride. She opened the cabinets and got out the cereal and bowls. She made her and Cierra some food and then sat down to eat it. Just then someone walked through the side kitchen door.
"Well hey there. Missy right?" Alex had come over to get another tape.
"Yes. Hey Alex. Sorry, JC's not here again."
"Oh it's alright. I just wanted to pick up a tape. I'll go get it then leave you ladies alone. Where is Cierra?"
"Oh, she's in the shower. She'll be out in a second if you wanna say hi."
It was almost before Missy finished her sentence that Cierra walked into the room in nothing but a towel. "Oops. Hi Alex. Sorry, I didn't know anyone was here!"
"Ha! Sorry should be coming from me! Wait till I tell JC that I saw his girl in nothing but a towel," he joked. Everyone laughed. "Well, let me get this tape so I can be on my way. You ladies have a good time today."
"We will. Bye Alex," Cierra said as she sat down and tried to keep herself fully covered.
Alex ran upstairs and got what he needed and then came back through the kitchen and said goodbye again. Missy got up and got the note from JC and set it beside the bowl of cereal that Cierra was eating.
"I found this here this morning when I came out here," Missy said.
"Hehe, he wrote me a note?" Cierra asked before she picked it up.
"Yes!"
Cierra picked up the note and read it. "He said for us to put on a swim suit. I thought we were just going for a boat ride?"
"I guess they think we're gonna get wet. I've never been in a speedboat, but I wouldn't doubt the fact that we'll get wet. I mean we are going to be moving at a reasonably fast speed!"
"Hmm, no complaints from me. It just allows me more time to get a tan!" Cierra laughed. "Well, I should go put on some clothes before someone else comes in and sees me wearing practically nothing!" They both laughed.
Both girls got up and headed to the back of the house to get changed. They dug through the drawers till they found their suit and then they put them on. Cierra's was a dark, bright blue color with splotches of neon green and teal blue. They were the bikini shorts and triangle bikini top that tied around her neck. Melissa's was a black bikini with a bright pink outline. Melissa had always liked bright pink. After about thirty minutes the girls were completely ready to go. They had gone back out into the living room and were sitting on the couch watching TV when the phone rang.
"Hello," Cierra said as she turned down the TV.
"Hey. Is C there?" A guy said with a confused tone.
"Uhm, no he isn't here at the moment, but he should be home in a few minutes."
"Do you know where he is?"
"He had to do some teleconference with Justy I believe."
"Oh. Uhm, I don't want to sound rude, but who is this?" he asked.
"This is Cierra. I'm a friend of JC's."
"Oh, Cierra... hey, this is Ty."
"JC's brother?"
"That would be me."
"Oh well, hi!"
"Hey. Will you do me a favor and tell JC to call me when he gets in?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah, no problem. Talk to you later."
"You too. Peace!" Tyler said and then hung up the phone.
Cierra sat down the phone. "That was JC's brother. He has a pretty sexy voice! Just like his brother," she giggled.
"Yeah, and he's even your age!" Missy laughed back.
"Hey now! I was in no way making any suggestion of him and I!"
"I know, but I still think it is funny!" They both giggled and then the phone rang again.
Cierra leaned over and picked up the phone again.
"Hello," Cierra said once again.
"Hey CiCi. It's Lance. Is JC back yet?"
"No he isn't, but he should be soon. You want me to have him call ya when he gets here?"
"Yeah. Are you girls ready for today?"
"Yes we sure are. JC told us to put on our suits! We are all dressed and ready to go."
"Alright. Well I'm gonna go get dressed and call the dock and tell them to reserve us a boat. I'll see y'all soon."
"OK, I'll have JC call you when he gets in," she said.
"Ok, thanks. Bye. Tell Missy hi for me!"
"OK, bye," she said and then hung up.
Cierra put the phone down and turned towards Missy. "Lance said to tell you hi and he'll see you soon."
Missy smiled. "I guess that he was just checking if JC was here yet eh?"
"Yup," Cierra said.
Just before Cierra was about to say something else JC walked in. He put his keys on the table by the door. "Whew, well good morning ladies. Nice to see that you are already ready," he said as he walked by and kissed Cierra on the forehead.
"Yup! Uhm, Tyler called and he wants you to call him. And Lance just hung up. He wants you to call him too," Cierra said.
"Wow, Ty called? I haven't talked to him all week. I should see what he wants. Did he say why he didn't call my cell?"
"Nope!"
"Ok, well I'm gonna go get changed and call these guys. I'll be down in a minute," JC said as he picked up the phone and headed for the stairs.
The girls got up and went to their room. They got their sunscreen and a few other odds and ends then went back into the living room. JC came walking down the stairs with the phone still to his ear.
"Yeah. ... Alright. ... No, I'm not sure. ... Well, maybe if you would have. ... Ty. ... Ok, never mind. ... I gotta go. I'll talk to you later," he said and then hung up.
"Is everything ok?" Cierra asked JC.
"Yeah. He got a speeding ticket and was calling me to bitch about it. It's his own fault. I called Lance and he is on his way over."
"Alright. Well, we're ready."
"Oh yeah, Alex stopped over to get a tape," Missy said.
"Ok. Thanks. Did he say anything?"
"Nah, but he caught quite a sight," she laughed.
Cierra hit Missy on the arm and cleared her throat. Missy tried to hide her smile and then put her lips together.
"What's that all about? What did he see?" JC asked.
"Oh nothing!" Cierra tried to cover.
"Nothing?" JC said unconvinced.
"He uh, he saw this wicked bird trying to peck through your back window! It was wild! I swear, it was the strangest thing I've ever seen!" she lied through her teeth. She didn't want JC to know that she was walking around half-naked and that his best friend saw her. It was embarrassing.
JC turned in an eyebrow and then said, "hmm, that is weird."
Missy tried so hard not to laugh. She couldn't help it. She burst out laughing. "Yes, attack of the killer bird. It was great!"
"Okay enough of the bird," Cierra said trying to change the subject. She rubbed down JC's chest and said, "baby, are you going to change?"
JC was wearing the same thing that he was wearing when he went upstairs to change. "Oh yeah. Sorry, I got sidetracked with Ty and I forgot. Let me go change right quick. I'll be back," he said and then ran upstairs to change.
The doorbell rang and Missy answered the door. She was still laughing about the whole bird story. Lance opened his arms to give her a hug. "What's so funny?" he asked.
"Nothing!" Cierra broke in. Long story Lance. Are you ready?" she yelled upstairs to JC.
He came running down the stairs. "Yup. Let's go!" The four of them walked out the door and headed to the car to go to the docks.
