PART FOUR

“Here ya go,” Jordan said as she gave the bellhop his tip and then watched him walk out the door and down the hall. She walked over to the bed and threw herself onto it. “I’m tired already and I just spent a couple hours sitting still doing nothing on the plane.”
Krista laughed and walked over and sat on the bed. “I am feelin’ ya girl. I’m tired too. Maybe it is just the whole airplane thing. I thought I was going to die by the time I got to France. And I slept the whole way there,” she laughed.
    “We suck,” Jordan laughed back.
Krista got up and walked over to the window. “We have a pretty nice view here.”
    “Of what?”
“The city. It should be nice when it is all lit up at night,” she said as she held the curtain away from the window. “See?”
Jordan rolled over and glanced out the window. “yeah, it is nice.” Jordan looked at the clock and then decided that she should call JC to let him know that they got there safely. “Did you tell Justin what time we were coming in?”
Krista giggled, “I didn’t even tell him I was coming.”
“When was the last time you talked to him,” she said surprised.
Krista raised an eyebrow and said, “last night.”
    “And you didn’t tell him!”
“I wanted it to be a surprise!” she exclaimed back.
“Well I told JC so hopefully he didn’t tell Justin.”
“Uh, that would suck,” she said as she thought about it.
“Totally. Let me go ahead and call JC to see if he opened his big mouth,” Jordan said as she picked up the hotel phone.
The phone rang four times and Jordan was about to hang up, and then someone answered it. “Hello,” an unfamiliar voice said.
“Uhm hi. Is this JC’s number?”
“I dunno. You called it, you tell me,” he said back.
“I think so,” she said and spouted out the number.
    “Yeah, that’s this number.”
“Well, who am I talking to them?” she said in a confused manner.
“Who am I talking to?” he repeated.
“I asked you first, she said.
Just then JC came over and said, “who’s on the phone?”
    “Some chic,” the guy said.
JC snatched the phone, “hello,” he said.
    “JC?”
“Jordan hey! Sorry, that was Tyler being an ass,” JC said and reached over and hit Tyler in the chest. “He decided to stop over and just hasn’t decided to GO HOME,” JC joked.
“Brothers! They are great eh?” she chuckled.
“Totally. So you gals got in alright?”
“    Yeah, we are cool. Hey, did you by chance tell Justin that Krista was coming?”
“Nah. When I told him that you would be in tomorrow afternoon, this was yesterday after I talked to you, he said that he wished Krista was coming. So I didn’t mention it cuz I thought maybe she was going to surprise him or something.”
“JC, you used your brain and concluded that all by yourself,” she said sarcastically.
“Oh my God, can you believe it,” he teased back. He had always told her that she had a valley girl southern accent, so he was mocking it.
“Don’t you make fun of me Mr.”
“Don’t you make me have to come over there and tackle you,” he said.
“Ha, I’d like to see you try that one,” she said. All of a sudden the line went dead. She looked at the phone. “Hello?” she said. She clicked the receiver and said hello again. Still nothing. “That loser hung up on me,” she said.
“That is all too funny,” Krista said. “Did he tell Justin?”
Jordan looked at the phone confused. “No.” She clicked the button again and then said, “maybe he got disconnected. He’ll call back.”
“Well I am gonna call for some towels, I see that we have none,” Krista said and picked up the phone. Jordan went to say something and Krista cut her off. “Don’t worry, I’ll hurry!”

Jordan stood looking out the window, with her back to the door. She looked over the city and wondered how many people were thinking about the same thing she was. Thinking about life and how you should live it to it’s fullest and never let go of what you dream about. She wondered all of this and her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.
She started to turn to the door, but then turned back to the window when Krista said, “I got it. It’s room service with our towels. Krista walked over to the door and opened it only to find a guy with his finger to his lips. To play along with the game she said, “yes, thank you for the towels,” and she moved so that the guy could walk in. He walked over to Jordan and placed his arms around her waist and then threw her to the bed, him going with her.
She screamed and jilted her way around so that she could see who attacked her. She pushed on his chest and couldn’t help but laugh. “JC, you scared the B-Jesus out of me!”
JC laughed inconsistently and said, “I told you not to make me come over here and tackle you!”
“I didn’t think you’d actually do it at that second,” she laughed.
    “I couldn’t resist.”
Krista stood in the back of the room and laughed. The door had a knock on it again and she went over to answer it. That time it actually was the service bringing up more towels. She laughed again at the remembrance of the look on Jordan’s face when JC took her down.
“Krista you are just as bad for playing along in his little charade.”
“I couldn’t help myself!” she exclaimed. “Now I just need to think of a way to surprise the stunning Timberlake!”
“Give me a couple minutes of recuperation time and I will think of something,” JC said as he continued to lay on the bed with his arms around Jordan.

An hour later JC dropped Krista off at the recording studio where Justin was. JC figured that she could surprise him by showing up there. Justin was at the studio so that he could work on the song that he was writing for their fourth album. JC told Krista where to go when she got inside and said that they would call Justin later to see if they wanted to do anything.
Krista walked down the hall and came to the room that JC said Justin would be in. She peeked in the window and saw that Justin’s back was to her, so that would allow her to go in without him noticing her entrance. She carefully opened the door and immediately heard Justin’s amazing voice. He had the head phones over his ears and had his right hand holding his ear.
She neared him and listened to him sing beautiful words into the microphone that hung from the ceiling. She didn’t want to interrupt him if he was actually doing a real take, so she stood there for a moment until she was sure it was okay to startle him. When she heard him stop singing and start mumbling something she got closer to him and grabbed his sides.
Justin’s immediate response was to yell. He turned around quickly and laughed when he saw Krista standing before him. “You scared the crap out of me girl. What are you doing here?”
“I came up with Jordan for her photo shoot. JC told me you’d be here, so I thought I would come say hello.”
“I’m really glad you came. I missed you,” Justin said as he pulled her in for a hug. They still had never kissed. They only had spent that one day together back in LA when they were with Jordan and JC. She wrapped her arms around him and smiled at his gentle touch.
“So, are you gonna be in here all day? JC said that he would call you later to see if we wanted to do anything with them.”
“Nah, I was just about to wrap things up actually. I have been in here all morning.”
“Oh. Well you for sure need a break then,” she smiled and pulled on his arm a little.
“Let me hit this bridge and then we can go. Is that alright?”
“I have no problem sitting her listening to you sing Justin,” she said as she back up and sat in the seat at the edge of the room.
Justin chuckled and said, “I’m glad.”

Justin’s phone rang about twenty minutes later. “Yeah,” Justin said as he picked it up.
    “J, it’s C. What are ya up?”
“Just finished up in here. You?”
“We are at the park off of Bulshire.”
“Well I was thinking on just giving Krista the tour around all the interesting places around here. You wanna come with?”
“Nah. We’ll hit a couple of them later probably. Maybe we can meet up later on and do something,” JC said as he and Jordan sat on the grass by a tree.
“Ok. Well, I’ll call you in a couple hours then. Have fun.”
“You too. Lates J,” JC said and then hit the ‘end’ button on his cell phone. “Well it looks like it is just you and me for the rest of the afternoon. We’ll hook up with Justin and Krista later.”
“Sounds like a plan to me,” she said back.
The two of them sat beneathe a tree and talked. JC leaned back and laid on his back and just looked up at the sky. “Ever try to make designs out of the clouds?” JC asked.
Jordan laid down and said, “wow, it has been forever since I did that. I did it a lot when I was little.”
JC pointed at the sky, “that one there looks like a dog sitting down with his ears at attention,” he laughed.
Jordan giggled a little and said, “I see it. Oh and right there is the tail,” she said as she took pointed at the same massive cloud.
“I could stay out her all day,” he said as he place his hands behind his head.
“I know what you mean. It is so peaceful.”
JC turned his head and looked at her. “Are you ready for the big photo shoot tomorrow?” he asked.
“I’m a lot less nervous. That is another reason that Kris is here with me. I begged her to come with me for moral support. A lot of people would probably think that I am dumb for getting so worked up about this, but it is a big deal for me. I mean, Krista has been doing mag shoots for a long time. This is my first real one. I’m afraid I will look like a tornado hit me over night, or I will say the wrong thing to the guy who called my publicist.”
“You’re not dumb at all! I think it is cute that you are so nervous about it. It is a big step for your career.”
“Did I tell you that I signed my first requested autograph the other day?” she giggled.
JC giggled in return. “No you didn’t,” he said.
“Some little girl came up to me and Kris at McDonald’s and asked for one from both of us. She even knew the line that is on the commercial I was on. ‘If Jordan wears it, so should you’,” she giggled again.
“Well get used to that stuff babe. It’ll only become almost mandatory every time you go out in public.”
    “Great,” she said sarcastically.
“As long as they don’t try to wake you up out of a nap, or catch you while you are eating, you’ll love it. Promise!” he said back.
“I’m sure I will,” she said back with a smile.
“Never take your fame for granted though Jordan. I know that something all this will come to an end, and I don‘t plan on taking any of it for granted on the way there.”
“I won’t,” she said and looked deep into his blue eyes.
“I don’t think you will either,” he said and leaned in closer to her and brushed his lips against hers. The kiss was deepened after a few seconds and he held himself over her in the grass. “You are so beautiful,” he said as he wiped the small strand of hair out of the path of her eye.
Jordan blushed and said, “you aren't too bad on the eyes yourself Chasez.”
He couldn’t help but giggle at the compliment. “I’d hope I wasn’t too bad on the eyes, cuz you look at me a lot, and if I was, then you’d be SOL for future eye site.”
“You think so eh?” she teased.
    “I do,” he laughed back.
Jordan started to tickle his sides and it caused him to roll over with laughter. JC was very ticklish and couldn’t take it anymore. He started to tickle her in return. They rolled in the grass together for quite sometime before Jordan managed to get up.
“Catch me if you can,” she yelled as she took off running through the park.
JC sat on the ground and laughed as he watched Jordan sway her weight back and forth like a wrestler does right before he attacks. “You really want me to get you?” he teased.
“Uh huh,” she smiled and nodded her head up and down.
“You asked for it,” JC said as he got up and darted toward her. “Don’t think you can get away from me for too long,” he laughed.
Jordan ran as fast as she could. She circled around several trees and even went up the ladder on the playground set. JC stood at the bottom of it and waited for her to come down. She laughed at him and told him that he would have to come up there if he wanted her so bad. JC looked around and then dashed to the closest ladder up to the top.
Jordan must have forgotten how flexible he was because he twisted himself all up underneath the small and twisted opening above the ladder. She saw him coming towards her and headed for the slide. She started to go down it and then she felt the weight of someone else on the ladder to. She hit the huge sandbox at the bottom and seconds later JC crashed next to her.
JC wiped the sand from his face and grabbed Jordan and tackled her right there in the sand. She laughed uncontrollably as he pinned her to the sand. “I told you I’d get you,” he said and then leaned in for a kiss.

“Oh my God!” Krista yelled. “What time is it?!”
Jordan rolled over in bed and looked at the clock as best as she could. She could barely see straight and her eyes were still cloudy from just waking up. “Uh, uh, eight in the morning.”
“Lord, this is a sin. Let me sleep,” Krista said.
Jordan groaned. She put her hand on her forehead and said, “make the people on the roof go away.”
“Who?” Krista said back in a groggy tone.
“The roof. The people pounding on my head!”
Krista giggled a little and then groaned when she realized that it hurt to laugh. “Jordi, I don’t think it was such a good idea to drink last night,” she said as she put her hand on her stomach.
“You wouldn’t think that those little bottles of stuff in the cabinet there were so.... bad.” Jordan’s head throbbed.
After the girls had spent the day, and the evening, with the guys they went back to their hotel. Krista and Justin had finally shared their first kiss and she wanted to celebrate their relationship. Jordan and JC had a wonderful day together and she too wanted to celebrate. When the girls got back to their hotel they pulled out the key to the alcohol cabinet and had a party, just the two of them.
The phone rang and Jordan and Krista both cursed at it. “Holy hell!” Jordan said as it rang throughout her head. She reached over and picked it up. “Hello.” There was no answer. “Hello.” Still no answer. “Damnit all to the high site of hell! Who is this?” Jordan yelled.
“Oh don’t yell,” Krista said as she put the pillow over her head.
Jordan looked at the clock and saw that it was 8:10am. That was when she had told the lady at the front desk to call her for the wake up call. She knew that she had to be at the studio by one, and JC and Justin wanted to do something for brunch.
“Wake up call,” Jordan said. She laughed. “It was just the wake up call.”
“I think I am gonna be sick,” Krista said and then got up and hauled ass to the bathroom. Jordan covered her mouth as she heard Krista throwing up the alcohol which contaminated both of their bodies.
A small knock at the door startled Jordan. She assumed that it was the cleaning lady coming to check if they needed towels or wash cloths. Jordan managed to crawl out of bed and stumble to the door. She pulled the door open and then wanted to shut it immediately.
“Are you okay sweetie?” JC said. She looked like a train wreck, it the best way possible.
“JC, I look bad! Go away,” she whined.
“Baby, you look great. What is wrong, are you sick? Can I come in?”
She moved over so that he could come in. “Kinda,” she said back.
JC looked around the room and saw that they had gotten a hold of the mini bar contents. He walked over to it and held up three of the small empty bottles and then laughed. “Did you drink all of this?”
Just then Krista walked out and said, “I helped.”
JC almost burst out laughing when he saw the beautiful blonde stumble out of the bathroom. Her hair was going every which way, and her clothes were wrinkled and riding up on her body. She too looked like a train wreck.
“Justin isn’t here is he?” she asked as she looked around the room and then fell on the bed.
“Nah, he is still at home. I told him that I would come over here and get y’all and then we would meet up at the little place we are taking you for brunch.” He looked at both girls and then said, “Jordan, baby, you know you have a photo shoot in a couple of hours right?”
“Oh my hotness save my soul! I am never gonna make it!”
“Listen, you go take a shower, a nice cold one. I am going to run down stairs and get both of you some Tylenol and some coffee,” he looked at them once more and then corrected himself, “a lot of coffee.”
“Thank you,” Jordan mumbled and then stumbled into the bathroom.
JC reached in the door and handed her her things. “You might need these,” he said and then began to walk towards the door.
    “Thank you,” she yelled.
“DON’T YELL!” Krista yelled and then cursed at herself for yelling back. That hurt just as much as someone else yelling.
JC opened the door and walked out into the hallway. “They need a lot of help!” he laughed and then made his way down the hall.
