Epilogue

Natalie Fatone opened the back seat and smiled as she unbuckled her twenty month old son from the car seat, while her husband grabbed the diaper bag. He flung it over his shoulder as they met around the car and grabbed his wife's hand while their son rested on her hip.
Joey Fatone III, better known as Trey, squealed with delight as they made their way to Justin and Britney's house. "Uncle Justy!!"
Joey shook his head. "Son, you're nuts. What do you see in him."
    "Mamma, we go see Justy?"
"Yes, sweetie, and Brit, C and MA, and everyone."
"Yeaa!" he said as he clapped his small pudgy hands.
Joey kissed the top of his brown hair and Trey beamed up at him with the same eyes that Natalie owned. "Love you, kiddo."
"Love you, Dada," he said and then bounced on her hip as they made their way to the backyard.
"Trey!" Justin exclaimed when he saw him.
Trey shimmied down his mother and ran over to Justin who threw him up in the air before spinning him in circles. "Don't spoil him," Natalie teased.
"Me?" he asked and then kissed her cheek. "Never."
    "Dad!"
Joey turned toward his daughter's voice and smiled as he picked her up and hugged her. "Hey sweet pea."
"Hey Dad," she said and then smiled at Natalie. "Hi Nat...can I play with my brother?"
She smiled. "If you can pry him away from Uncle Justin."
Joey smiled at Natalie who was smiling down at Jesse. She had been so supportive when he had told her about the news of Jesse. He was so nervous what she would think of him, but she only admired him more when he told her that he was going to take care of her.
When Kelly, his ex girlfriend had Jesse, Natalie was with him through the whole thing. She herself had grown attatched to her, and treated her like her own daughter. Natalie and Kelly got along well, and Kelly was married and pregnant with her second child. Joey couldn't have been more happy than he was right then.
"Mary Ann," JC said uneasliy. "Maybe you should sit down I mean you look a little dizzy."
MA sighed as she put a hand on her swollen belly and turned to her husband.
"Honey, it's almost been nine months and you're still not use to it."
Britney chuckled and put a hand on her flat stomach that has not shown yet. "Justin, is like that too, and I gotta long way to go."
MA laughed. "I still can't believe it. Are you going to find out or wait?"
    "Wait," she beamed.
"Honey, please...in the shade...off your feet...please?" JC begged.
She sighed. "Fine, if it'll shut you up."
He kissed her temple. "Yes, it will."
She let him walk over to the table. "You are just so annoying and....oh!"
"What?" he said alarmed when she stopped short and put a hand on her belly. "The baby? Is it time? What do I do? Do I...."
Mary Ann cut him off by grabbing his shirt and crushed her lips against his. "Shut up and get the car....you're gonna be a father tonight."

"Man," Joey said as he tiredly crawled into bed and collapsed near Natalie. "That was a long ass labor."
"Of course," Natalie chuckled as she set her book down. "With Mary Ann, nothing is simple."
He chuckled. "True," he said and then leaned up and kissed her softly and then moaned when she opened her mouth and tasted him deeply. "You know....It's been awhile since we have..." He moved his hand down her body and began to undo the buttons of her favorite flannel pajamas.
"Hmm," she chuckled against her lips. "It sure has."
Joey ran his lips down her neck and captured her ear softly, slowly playing with the diamond earring that twinkled in her ear. He heard his wife moan with pleasure as he flicked his tongue down her chest, and lightly bit her collerbone. He kissed the grove of her throat and.....
Trey's cry from the room across the hall stopped his action and they both groaned in frustration. He looked up at her and sighed. "So much for a little TLC," he said and then kissed her. "I'll get him."
Natalie collapsed her head on the pillow and seconds later her husband came back with her puffy eyed son. "What's wrong baby?"
He sniffed. "Mamma," he cried as he leaned out of Joey's arm and crawled into his mother's warmth.
"Aww," she said as she carressed his brown locks and rocked him. "Did you have a nightmare?"
    "Uh-huh," he cried.
"Okay, well you can sleep with momma and dadda, okay?"
"Okay," he said and then let her open the covers for him and he snuggled between him. "Night Dadda...Night Momma."
    "Night, baby," Natalie cooed.
"Night, kiddo," Joey said and kissed his sweaty forehead and then smiled over at his wife. He laid his head on his pillow and reached out for Natalie who took his hand. They linked their fingers and rested them on top of the small lump hiding in the covers. And the family of three slowly fell into a deep slumber.

Mary Ann groaned tiredly when she heard the despearte cry of their three day old daughter, Kennedy Ann. She loved being a mother, but the first couple have days have been extremely hard on her. It was just going to take awhile to get use to.
She was about to get up, but JC loomed over her and kissed her softly. "Sleep....I'll go."
She moaned an appreciation and kissed her husband. "I love you for that."
He chuckled and then kissed her again before throwing the covers off of him and walked out of the room. He walked into the nursery room, which he hired the best designers to create. He walked over to her crib and leaned over and picked up his daughter. "Hey, hey," he said softly as he gently put her against his shoulder. "Daddy's here, baby, it's okay."
Kennedy made small crying noises, but they slowly disappeared as he started to pat her small back. He walked over to the rocker and sat down, repositioning her in his arms so she was snuggled in his folding arms. "Shh, shh," he said when she started to cry again. "It's okay, babydoll," he said and then kissed her soft head as he rocked her.
"Hush little baby don't say a word," he started to sing softly. "Daddy's gonna buy you a mockingbird." Kennedy clinched her tiny hand over her dad's finger. "And if that mockingbird don't sing...Daddy's gonna buy you a diamond ring." He leaned down and pressed his lips to her head as he hummed the rest of the song.
Mary Ann's heart filled with love while she lingered at the doorway of the nursery. The sight of the man she loved singing to their daughter--the daughter that they had created with the love they shared, brought tears to her eyes. The years she has spent with him have been the happiest years of her life. When she said "I do," to him two years ago, she knew it would last forever.
JC looked up and smiled at his wife. "C'mere, you," he said softly.
MA wiped a happy tear out of her eye and walked to him. He held out one hand and tugged at her as he kissed her softly. "You're crying."
She nodded. "I just love you so much."
He smiled and then tugged her lightly until she sat on the armchair of the rocker. She sighed as she leaned into him and rested her cheek against the top of her head. "She's beautiful."
"She looks like you," he said with his voice cracked.
"I bet she has a voice like yours," she said and then kissed the top of his head.
He looked up and kissed her. "I bet she has a heart like yours. True and kind."
She leaned in for a kiss, but a cry pulled them apart. A different cry. She laughed and then kissed his temple. "I'll get him," she said and then walked over to the matching crib and pulled out her three day year old son. "Joshua Scott Jr...what am I gonna do with you?"
He chuckled softly as he watched her bring his son over to him. "Here, lay him in my other arm."
MA smiled and leaned over as she carefully placed him in his arm. He immediately started wiggling and his crying stopped when MA put his passy in his mouth. JC kissed his son's head, then his daughter's, and then looked looked up at his wife. "Thank you for making me a father."
She kissed him on the lips, lingering them there before pulling away. "Thank you for loving me."
Their lips touched again, while Kennedy Ann and Joshua Scott slept soundly in their father's arms.
