LEE JONES
Where am I playing?
Singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter.  Lee has spent most of his time playing classic light rock, country rock, country, and bluegrass - in clubs all over the U.S., England, and a few places in Canada.  He comes from the old school - where style is important, songs should mean something, and KISS - that's right, Keep It Simple, Stupid.  Lee has five CDs to his name, all recorded in his own home studio.  Something he's always wanted to do - write the songs, play and sing all the parts, do the engineering and producing, and even design the album covers.  And, the guy plays ten instruments - they are:  Guitar, fiddle, banjo, pedal steel, lap steel, harmonica, ukulele, bass, drums, and keyboards (just a little keyboards, he says).  Some of the people who have worked for him have called him a tyrant and a slave driver, but he says, "This is my band, I'll do things my way, if you don't like that idea, then start your own band".  Success at the club level, or any level, well, we'll talk about that later.
Here are Lee's CDs:
Cowboy In Paradise:  Made this one while I was living in Hawaii, there are five cover songs and 5 original songs, all with a Hawaiian flavor.  I'm most proud of the ukulele and lap steel in these songs.
Some of my favorite old time songs, done instrumentally.  Did this one just for the pure fun of it.
Some songs I wrote about some of my favorite bands & artists.  Each song is done in the style of the artist or band it is about.
Calm After The Storm - just what it says, after 20 hectic, exciting, fun filled years of playing with my band in the clubs, things have slowed down.  I can take time to write and record songs, and enjoy the calm.  Nine of the ten songs are my own.
