News
N.B. We have came to the conclusion that all our old news is well, old and obsolete. This is a feasible excuse for not bothering to take all the old news off the old site and onto this one.
5 February 2004 - First update in ages. Since J.O.F.I.S things have changed a lot. Bored with the too linear structures of the old songs, we decided to do the natural thing and write our next ep by simply jamming out a load of songs onto a shitty tape recorder. Go here to check out the results so far...
We hope to record these songs in their final form soon with the help of 8 track analog tape and top of the range free software from Omagh tech. Expect it some time in this lifetime.
4 July 2003 - There's been no updates in a while now, so there's quite a bit happening now! There's a load of new pics up in the ugly people section, and we have our demo finished! It was released on Friday last at Tingles niteclub in Omagh, and all 25 copies we had sold out! Dee stole one tho, and a large amount of people tried to buy it off him but the dick wouldn't sell it. Well, we should have it at any future gigs, so bring your £3 and you too can own a piece of rock history! It's called J.O.F.I.S and contains six tracks :-
1. You Can Spell My Name
2. Doomed
3. Swim Baby
4. Frustration
5. Him
6. Chopping At My Limbs.
You Can Spell My Name, Doomed and Chopping At My Limbs will soon be available on MP3.com, to find a link to it goto the noise section of this site.
We will also be playing a few gigs in the near future, we will be playing with an as yet undecided band in a gig put on by the Nerve Centre in Omagh next Saturday, and we also have a gig with One Percent, Sub60 and Yakuza(i think) in Omagh in the next few weeks. Once we sorta out our dates for other commitments (work etc.) we plan to be playing on a weekly basis.
b 30 March 2003 - Yesterday work began on a new set of Field IX songs. Riffs and ideas were jammed and spirits are currently quite high for these new songs. Riff driven, spacey, heavy and noisy are only a few words to describe the sound of things right now. Same as ever really, only better!
