When Sanosoke Sagara was young he belonged to a group which worked with another group the Inshin who worked for the governmentSanosuke was little back then but showed much dedication to his boss, Sagara. -Sanosuke took his name afterwards- anyhow, his group was duped and attacked by this Ishin group, and there fore he has this hostility toward them. He became a gangstah, and was hired by that one dude to go kill Kenshin. Kenshin was a Ishin too, so BINGO! They did have a fight, but Kenshin bested him, breaking Sano's sword (This long one called the Zanza sword, hence his nickname "zanbatou").
Later, Sanosuke decided to be with the Kenshin gumi and joined them. |
