An Alliteration game
inspired by Thomas Jefferson

During colonial times, before the invention of electricity, people would play word games. These games required no reading at all. They were played orally, and just for fun.

Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd President of the United States. Go to this site to find out what kinds of games Thomas Jefferson liked to play with his family after dark -  Sunrise: Design and Decor

Play the Game:

For this game, you don't need paper, but here is a form to help you and your partner play this game. You need to complete this sentence, "I took my friend to_____________, with a _______________, and _________________. All of the responses must begin with the same letter, going through the alphabet from A-Z. For example:

I took my friend to Atlanta, with an apple, and we added sums.

Then it is your partner's turn to complete the sentence with "B", and so on. Have fun making alliterations!
