Fight Club

On The Back:

A ticking-time bomb insomniac (Edward Norton) and a slippery soap salesman (Brad Pitt) channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Their concept catches on, with underground "fight clubs" forming in every town, until a sensuous eccentric (Helena Bonham Carter) gets in the way and ignites an out-of-control spiral toward oblivion.

Summary Of The Movie (w/out the ending)

The movie begins with the narrator/Jack (Edward Norton) with a gun in his mouth, held by a man's face we can't see. Jack begin's to narrate the story of how this all began. Jack is an insomniac. He goes to support groups to cry, and strangely enough, crying helps him sleep. He's fine until Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter) comes along. He sees her at every support group, and apparently can't cry anymore with a "faker" in the group, thus regaining his insomnia. He talks with her and they work out a plan. The plan is to split up the groups, so Jack never sees Marla again. The exchange numbers and go on with their lives. One day on a business trip, Jack meets Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt). Jack ends up living with Tyler after his condo goes up in smoke. Jack and Tyler start a "fight club" underneath Lou's Tavern (a bar). Soon, there are "fight clubs" everywhere and much mischeif is being made. Tyler meets Marla one day and continually brings her over for a little "fun." One day Tyler leaves and Jack has no idea why. He searches for Tyler and finally finds him. Jack finds out that that very night, major credit card building were going to be blown up and it's up to him to stop this madness.
