The Ballad of Shadowrunner
Written by Hon Rosie
I was walking 'long the coast, a-way,
When a young pretty haremaid came walkin' this way,
I fell in pace beside her for miles a day,
When she finally talked to me, oh yay!
"O how do you do, young sir, great day!"
"Fine young maiden, how are ye today?"
"I'm fine sir, and where are you off to, pray?"
"To the Mountain of Fire, lack-a-day!"
"Be you in the Long Patrol, say?"
"Aye, fair maid, will you come, I complay."
"Why not, young sir, on this fine old day?"
Walking along the coast, a-way,
We two beasts did see a fray,
I pulled out my dirk with no delay,
When the maiden did the same, oh darnay,
No way to show off for the maid, nay,
And away with yon vermin we slay,
And when we put our weapons away,
I asked the pretty maiden all day,
"Why didn't you tell me you were a Warrior, pray?"
"Why, sir, didn't you know I was a Patroller, aye?"
"No I didn't, lack-a-day!"
We traveled on back to the Sali, straight away,
And wed the day we arrived, YAY!
Prayer for the Fallen Warriors
By Tajon
Though memories pass, old ones forget,
While the time goes by,
We will always remember in true respect
The Ones that for us did die.
Their flesh may be soil, their bones be dust,
Forever one with the Earth
But we will remember their love, and the friendships we had,
Of Celebrations and mirth.
Together we rejoiced, cried, and feared,
And friendship always held strong,
We worked together for peace and love,
And stopped the doing of wrong.
They stood at our sides, preparing to fight,
Each would die for the other,
At the sound of the yell, with a battle cry,
We charged side by side, all brothers.
Through the battle rage, though cut down and slain,
Their spirits may away and fly,
But we will always remember in true respect,
The ones that for us did die.
Salamandastron! Salamandastron!
Oh it's so great
'Twill never fall
With warriors and joy
It stays alive with the
Best warriors, best warriors of all!  They are the LONG PATROL! the LONG PATROL!
They'll bring your hopes up
They'll get you little dirty
Villains and stupid vermin
You can all go to where the world stops
and you'll be put to rest OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ,LONG PATROL! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
LONG PATROL!
You'll be sleepin' well
With these strong beasts With these strong beasts you'll never Falllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Jolly Good Song About Food, Wot!
By Tajon
Though seasons of famine, plauge and trial,
And though our jolly young ones may starve quite a while,
I take great pleasure in serving a meal,
Which for me is quite an ordeal. (wot!)
Though I may get chubby and round down the middle,
I'd never give up my sweet, tasty vittles.
Oh! The taste of warm bread during a cold winter season!
Nothing compares to that taste, here's the reason.
It is sweet and fluffy and makes quite a luncheon,
Blimey, all food that I've eatin' is great for a-munchin'!
Yes food is the greatest a good hare could get,
Nothing I've seen has come bally close to it yet.
I may love hare maids with sweet voices pure,
But they cannot compare to a well-cooked ordure.
I may enjoy adventure with excitement and daring,
But my stomach prefers a lemon-drenched herring.
Yes, food is the thing I love with my whole heart,
For without any food my life would depart!
Wot wot!
The Story of Mattimeo
Ohhh, in the days of old,
A warrior bold,
Came tumbling through the snow.
He wanted his sword,
‘Cause he was bored,
And needed it for a fight!
So he went off to battle,
Just a little,
And he was victorious.
Now that good old sword,
Is restored,
To greaaaaaat oooooolllllllld Redwall!!!
This Day
By Perigord
On this day
Us hares play
In the mighty Salamandastron
On this day
The dibbuns play
In the Redwall Abbey
Today this wonderful day
We sit and say,
Boy, what a wonderful day!
By Perigord
Welcome to the land of Hares and Badgers,
A land where vermin die,
Come to a place where there are many stories,
A place where legends ne'er die!
Oh this is a feast and a war!
A place wot thrives forever more!
A place of warriors,
A place of the LONNGGG PATROLLL.
That's Salamandastronnnnnnn!

A poem
Written by Hon Rosie
O'er lakes and silver rivers
Rest in peace, my loved one,
And may you be content.
It is lonely here without you,
It soon will be my turn,
Look for my arrival,
At the Dark Forest gates.

A poem
Written by Hon Rosie
Peace is here for you,
Peace is here for you and me,
And may it stay this way.
Fighting is sad,
Many weep and cry,
Why must there be battles
When it can do without.
Try to understand each toher,
When troubles come, set things right,
And may we bring peace together,
For once, forever, for all.
