This CD is not one of those cheesy Hitchcock collections. When you look at the track list, you may ask "Where is Bernard Herrman?" The CD features some of the best Hitchcock film music that is not composed by Herrman. You can tell looking at the composers' names. I bought this mainly because it has about four minutes of John Williams' music. The old masters (Dimitri Tiomkin and Franz Waxman,) however, do not dissapointed me either. All of the music will give you a good Hitchcock feel. The music is performed by the Utah Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Charles Ketcham. It also has exclusive notes on Hitchcock films and music, written by Chirstopher Palmer.
