MacOS StartUp Screens (MOSS)

Welcome to W00T OS.

"How do I use this crap!?" - click:

Instructions!

· Make a copy of the “System” file (within the System Folder). This is done for safety
· Open the copy using ResEdit (Double-click on the enclosed link file if you need to download it)
· Open the MOSS file
· Select the PICT icon and copy (Command-C)
· Switch to the System Folder window and paste (Command-V)
· Click ‘Yes’ to the “replace resources” dialogue
· Save the changes (Command-S)
· Quit ResEdit (Command-Q)
· Move the original “System” file out of the System Folder
· Move the edited copy of the “System” file into the System Folder
· Restart to see the changes
· If it works without any problems, discard the original “System” file

WHAT YOU SAY?!

"WHAT YOU SAY?!" is the very first MOSS I've made. Translated, it reads "MacOS *", "Welcome to MacOS", "Extensions Disabled". The background is an X-ray of the Titanium PowerBook G4 some guy took. If you have no idea where these phrases came from, look here.
