What is success? Is it having a lot of money? Or is it more than that? I think that success is just something as simple as keeping yourself happy. Sure, money will help keep you happy, but there are many more things you can achieve for happiness. For example, having or starting a family and only having a low paying job keeps many people content in life. If anyone in the world wanted to be happy, they would have many choices or paths in life.

Being successful in life is much more than just money. Having a family is a very important aspect in being successful. Family members always being behind your back in times of need could really boost your success rate for the present and future days. Being in high school these past few years have been really stressful on my mind and body. Constantly getting up early in the morning, day after day, and staying up late finishing extra homework can be hard if done alone. Having someone there can make a big difference in how you get through these things though. My parents help me wake up and get ready for school, then help me when I am having difficulties with homework. They even support me when I have a job that works me until midnight.

Having a good paying job could help families stay together easier, and when families stay together everyone is much happier. My father supports the family because he is a doctor. Doctors bring home a decent amount of money to keep us happy. Families that do not have people with good paying jobs, or no job at all probably are not kept happy. This results in not being successful in the end since nobody is happy with their lives. My first job brought in an okay amount of money, and made me feel good about myself when I could make it through a 10 hour day of dishwashing.

Owning a well-kept house may also keep everyone happy with their lives. With a job, basically anyone could be a homeowner. A really important part of owning a house is where it is located. In Winnipeg, there are some really bad neighborhoods to live in where crime happens when night falls and it is dangerous to leave during night. I think we, the people in the south end of the city, are lucky to live where we do. Having a family to support us with well paying jobs, and a good home can keep anyone happy.

Basically, success starts with family. If you have a family that cares about you and wishes you the best for your future, you can be very successful. Family is the main strength in success, and if you stay away from other family members and shelter yourself from them, are you truly happy?
