Sephirothchar

History:
Sephiroth was born/created from an experiment conducted by Hojo <a mad scientist of ShinRa>, with the assistance of Lucretia. Hojo had been working on the ultimate project, and after considerable failures to create an offspring with Jenova cells that was human from origin, he determined that his botchups were due to the fact that the youth would require a mother to carry it through labor, rather than making him a testtube baby. Jenova was a being, mistaken for a Cetra, who was far more ancient than they were, and had a desire to irradicate the race. The Cetra had managed to put her to sleep, unable to destroy her, and sealed her up. Years later, the descendants of the Cetra, humans, discovered her and she ended up in the hands of Hojo. He recruited Lucretia, a young scientist who was in love with him, and despite the interruptions of Vincent Valentine, he proceeded with the experiment. He injected Lucretia with Jenova cells, as well as himself, and they mated, producing a child. When this child was still in the womb, he fused Jenova cells further and the child was born with complications, but survived the process and looked seemingly human. The mother "died" a few days after the birth, and the child was taken from her, and placed elsewhere for observation.
Sephiroth grew up not knowing of his bizarre lineage, possibly in foster care or as an orphan. He knew only that his mother was Jenova and that she had died at birth, while his father possibly abandoned them. He entered SOLDIER at an early age, possibly around 14, as Zack had, and rose in the ranks rather smoothly. Having talents he himself did not understand gave him that edge he needed to enter the Elite at such a young age. He began to be idolized by people, and many sought to eminate him. He however, was a distant man, not getting to know too many people, and was quite jaded and cynical.
He discovered Masamune, his chosen weapon, when he went to Wutai to continue a war that ShinRa had with them. Taking over as commanding officer of the SOLDIER there, he led them in to victory, and faced off Yuffie's father in a duel. When he was given Masamune to attack Sephiroth with, Sephiroth acquired the weapon, and then let the man live, departing with Masamune as his award. Wutai was shocked because no one, unless chosen could wield the weapon that was held by the water gods ..aka Leviathan. After gaining this weapon, his legend grew all the more and he was seemingly unstoppable.
Sephiroth had possibly trained quite a few SOLDIER who were ready for the field, and the last one under his tutelage was Zack, a young either Private First Class or Sergeant First Class. (all that is said in the game is SOLDIER first class>. He had emulated and admired Sephiroth for many years of his youth, and even though Sephiroth was cold and calculating, where as Zack seemed to operate more off his feelings, he still wished to learn from the man. The two, and two guards <one which was Cloud Strife>, went to Nibelheim to deal with what was reported to them to be a reactor malfunction. A power generator was needed to be installed. Upon arriving there, Sephiroth and the group stayed at Nibelheim for the night, and then set up for Mount Nibel, the reactor, and were led by Tifa Lockhart. The thin rope bridge broke beneath the group and after Sephiroth caught up with the group, he informed them that they would have to go on without one of the guards because the reactor situation had to resolved immediately, and the missing guard was nowhere in sight. They entered the area after considerable climbing and making their way through the area from below, and entered Mt. Nibel. Sephiroth brought Zack in and told the other guard to wait outside with Tifa as they replaced the power generator. Sephiroth and Zack noted in capsules their were bodies of deformed beings, and then also a large center was on top of a stair way that read "Jenova Project" on it. Sephiroth then heard voices and Zack was quite confused. He also made note of the fact that his mother's name had been Jenova, and Zack had not heard the voices, so something was seriously wrong. He and Zack, after repairing the reactor headed back to Nibelheim, and Sephiroth took it upon himself to investigate this further by accessing into the ShinRa mansion. He discovered the secret path leading to a large basement, where obviously experimentation had been performed and many logs, journals and files were kept. He read many of them, anything to do with the Jenova Project, and did so fanatically..slowly losing his mind. Zack attempted to talk to him, but was dismissed, and wandered, waiting for what his commanding officer would do. After a few nights, Sephiroth burnt down the town of Nibelheim in a cool rage, and then went to Mount Nibel to release his "mother". After a life of seeming disapointments and no connections to people, he believed he should free her and together they could dominate the planet. His "mother" had other plans to destroy it, and she continued to spurn the seed of hatred in Sephiroth. He severed her head and walked down to leave as Tifa's father attempted to stop him, and swiftly dispatched him. He then defeated Zack and Tifa, and headed to the bridge over the life stream, where Cloud ran after him and after Sephiroth caught him with Masamune, Cloud found hidden reserve and tossed Sephiroth into the lifestream by grabbing onto the sword and lifting him up.
Sephiroth emerged 5 years later, as a clone, and assassinated President ShinRa. He began to also speak to Cloud telepathically and led him after himself, to be freed while innacting his plan to destroy ShinRa and the planet entire. Cloud had received Zack's memories and had escaped, with Zack. Zack had been shot down, but Cloud continued on, and then with a confused memory of his past, became a mercenary. Sephiroth led Cloud and his team from Avalanche after him and maneuvered them around the Turks and ShinRa, as he summoned his clones and those with Jenova cells <SOLDIERs> and destroyed them, taking away the cells and returning them to his mother. Killing Aeris <Aerith> as she performed the prayer for the planet with the Holy Materia was also done through the use of one of his clones after Jenova failed to control Cloud to do the crime. He also forced them to retrieve the Black Materia, or Materia Meteori, to him, and Cait Sith sacrificed himself. Afterwards Sephiroth claimed it. Later, he ended up letting it fall in to the hands of Cloud and despite their efforts to keep the materia from him, he received it again and finished the touches on the Meteor spell he was aiming to cast. Sephiroth also controlled one of the Weapons of the planet to destroy ShinRa locations, and absorbed the power that ShinRa sent to destroy him with the Sister Ray. Later, Cloud and his group confronted Sephiroth in varying forms as well as Jenova, and he was defeated. His final death occurred when Cloud came to face him spiritually and ended his existence. It is a curiosity if Sephiroth himself in body ever truly emerged from the crystal he was imprisoned in but his tortured malevolent spirit was finally released and his ending plans to destroy the planet came to an end.
