STRAGO'S LORE
Strago's special skill is the ability to learn magick spells from enemies when used upon him and add them for later use to his own acquired knowledge...or, lore.

| AQUA RAKE | 22 | CHIMERA, RHYOS, VECTAGOYLE | A water spell that washes over a group of enemies with a powerful surge attack. |
| BIG GUARD | 80 | MOVER, DARK FORCE, EARTH GUARD | Big Guard combines two other spells, Safe and Shell, and casts them at once. |
| BLOW FISH | 50 | BRAIN PAN, PHASE, CACTROT, PRESENTER, MOVER | 1,000 hit points of damage hits enemies with this spell. |
| CLEAN SWEEP | 30 | ENUO, BLUE DRAGON, DARK FORCE | A powerful water spell that will douse the flames of enemy fires. |
| CONDEMNED | 20 | VETERAN, CRITIC, STILL LIFE | A countdown to the demise of the enemy is initiated with this Lore command. |
| DISCHORD | 68 | PIPSQUEAK, FIGALIZ, IRON HITMAN | Enemy experience levels are halved, leaving them with weaker attack power and lower level spells. |
| EXPLODER | 1 | BOMB, GRENADE, BALLOON, JUNK | This spell is one of Strago's most damaging Lore attacks. |
| FORCE FIELD | 24 | DOOM | This Lore produces a strong barrier of protection against enemies. |
| GRANDTRAIN | 64 | HIDON | The magickal train blows through enemy defenses and runs them over. |
| LEVEL 3 MUDDLE | 28 | APOKRYPHOS, GOBLIN, DARK FORCE | Muddle your foes, but beware - characters with levels at multiples of 3 are also hit. |
| LEVEL 4 FLARE | 42 | APOKRYPHOS, GOBLIN, DUELLER | A powerful flare spell with a warning - characters with levels at multiples of 4 are also hit. |
| LEVEL 5 DOOM | 22 | SKY BASE, DIDALOS, DARK FORCE | A powerful doom spell with a warning - characters with levels at multiples of 5 are also hit. |
| LV. (#GP) PEARL | 50 | DULLAHAN, CRITIC, DARK FORCE | The strength level of this Lore is determined by how much gold you have. |
| PEARL WIND | 45 | PEEPERS, VECTAUR, DARK FORCE | A healing wind that recovers hit points in your party members. |
| PEP UP | 1 | FLAN, MUUS, JUNK | Will cause Strago to give his own life to fully cure one party member. |
| QUASAR | 50 | GODDESS, DARK FORCE | This Lore will allow you to break through enemy defense spells. |
| REFLECT | 0 | DARK FORCE | Reflect spells with this Lore. With a Reflect Relic, you'll take damage from Dark Force. |
| REVENGE | 31 | DRAGON, PAN DORA, DARK FORCE | Revenge inflicts an enemy's equal damage for a dose of payback. |
| RIPPLER | 66 | DARK FORCE | Trades your status with an enemy - switch poison, mute, and other ailments onto them. |
| ROULETTE | 10 | DARK FORCE, VETERAN, CRITIC | An attack spell is randomly selected to be cast upon the enemy. |
| SOUR MOUTH | 32 | MAD OSCAR, EVIL OSCAR | Heals a party member that has been poisoned or otherwise incapacitated. |
| STEP MINE | 22 | PUG, MESOSAUR, GREASE MONK | Step Mine continues to hurt enemies over time. If the battle is long, you'll use more MP for this spell. |
| STONE | 22 | BRAWLER, IRON FIST | If the foe's level is the same as yours, you'll attack it. If not the same, you'll use Muddle. |
