Adam Bloom is a English comedian, who has had quite a large amount of Australian TV coverage. You might know him from appearances on shows such as Good News Week, Rove and Standing Up. He has also appeared on the 1999 and 2000 Melbourne Comedy Festival Galas and the 1999 Sydney Comedy Festival specials.
His big break came in 1998 when he appeared on a TV show in the UK called "Edinburgh or Bust" (a documentary where they pick the rising stars for the year and follow them around for 3 weeks and show all the up and downs of performing). He ended up winning the Polygram Punters' Comedy Award that year in Edinburgh, and then the Time Out Award for Best Stand-Up.
His proudest performance on tv was when he played a over-zelaous tv presenter called Berk on the series "Young Persons Guide to Becoming a RockStar". He's also been on a quiz show for the past few years called "Bring Me the Head of Light Entertainment", where he's a team leader. And there's numerous other shows including Live at Jongleurs and The Comedy Network.
He has also appeared in a special called "Beyond a joke", which was part of a series called "Comedy lab"
When Adam isn't a comedian, he works as a cocktail barman.
