Anthony Morgan has been working as a stand up comic since 1982. He has received awards at both the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals and recently has done solo seasons in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. Anthony was also a regular on the Big Gig, Tonight Live and Denton. He was also a semi regular guest on Good News Week when it was on the ABC, and to GNW fans, would be known as the one who kissed the dummy on Unseen and Obscene. He can also be seen (briefly) in the video 'Punchlines' which looks at 20 years of Australian Comedy.

He has competed in World Series debating, including "Sex has killed Romance" in 1994. He has also bee in some of the Super Debates which were shown on Channel 9.

In 2000, he returned to the stand up scene (after apparently retiring from comedy) and performed at Melbourne's Comedy festival in a show called Morgan's Bar and Grill.
