Gary accepted a caution from the Police. The matter is now closed. Just goes to show, these 80's china boys still know how to rock and dole it out. Come on lads, get some songs out for us fans. Some "cool" book...Eddie Lundon and "The Light"It seems that a rather mysterious (and talented) individual called Brian Atherton released at least two singles around 1986 under the name "The Light"' entitled "Pride of Winning" and "Contrasting Strangers". I understand from the sleeve notes that Eddie Lundon played guitars on "Pride of Wining". This would make sense as the singles were recorded at Amazon Studios in Liverpool. Indeed I believe that Mr Atherton is from Liverpool. The singles are extremely good and display some of the musical inventiveness that make China Crisis so good. Finally, here is a picture of Mr Atherton (scanned from the single).
