Detailed Information:

Higurashi Kagome (main character besides Inuyasha) is an average fifteen year old who easily looses her temper at anything (especially at our favorite Hanyou, Inuyasha.)Anyways, more to the facts!!

When she met Inuyasha: Her story begins 400 years (after the scene where Inuyasha was bound to a tree), in modern day Tokyo. She has her average life, friends, etc. When her fifteenth birthday finally arrived, she found out she wasn’t so ordinary after all. How did she meet Inuyasha you ask?? She was dragged down into her family well (the bone eaters well) by a giant centipede who was after the Shikon Jewel; we find out later in the episode that the jewel is embedded in her body and that is why the centipede is after her. She is about to be killed until she uses this power coming from her hand to defend herself from the monster (it was so cool!!) She then comes out of the well, and arrives in Sengoku Jidai ,(feudal Japan). She knows that the centipede is not Dead, so she runs toward the only thing she can recognize, her family tree (man it must be old!!) When she reaches the tree she sees her future love Inuyasha (I tell you, it was meant to be!!) Later on she releases him from the spell that bound him to a tree for such a long time. He tries to kill her at first, but Kaede uses a magical necklace that gives Kagome the power to smash Inuyasha to the ground if he tries to kill her again, she just has to use the magic word, “osuwari” (sit boy). On the next episode she shatters the jewel into a zillion pieces trying to retrieve the jewel from a giant bird (hey it was her first time using her archery, you can’t blame her), so Kagome and Inuyasha go on a journey to retrieve the jewel. They don't get along at first, seeing how Inuyasha thought Kagome looked just like Kikyou, but he later sees her for who she is on their journey for the shards of the Shikon No Tama. Kagome just sees him as whatever at first,later on her feelings later blossom into LOVE (how sweet). Inuyasha puts her on hold for a long time because of his dead old ex-girlfriend who he is still in love with (she's practically around her hundreds by now if she didn't look like she used to he'd probably think twice about picking her over Kagome!!) She suffers a lot because of Kikyou. That dumb Kikyou doesn't see her as a real person just cause they share the same soul. But she still stays by Inuyasha’s side because she feels so strong towards him, that she doesn’t care if he chose Kikyou. She doesn’t want him to decide,because he has suffered a lot, she just wants to stay by his side, and make him smile(she is so sweet) Oh I didn't tell you about that, WELL we later find out in the story that Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyou (if you haven't figured that out yet :/) Oh yea did I happen to mention that she has cool powers too!! At first Kagome receives her powers through several flukes may I say dumb luck, then later on in the story she improves her powers through her archery. Isn't that cool, at first she just wines in the middle of a battle but later she becomes a powerful heroine that can kick butt!! Hopefully she will become even more powerful than Kikyou herself!!

My Opinion: I think that isn't fair, ( what Inuyasha is making Kagome do...WAIT!!) He's playing the poor girl. Even though he does love herhas to love one of them more. I say if he can have two lovers, I think Kagome should have two too!! Meaning Kouga and Inuyasha but everyone knows that she wouldn't because she loves Inuyasha with all her heart she probably would sacrifice herself in order to save him .How sweet!!
