Shaoran Li

Basics
Shaoran Li or Li Shaoran, either way, its the same thing! Anyway, Shaoran is from Hong Kong and comes into the show on episode 8 and we know him as Sakura's rival because he is after the cards as well. He starts out as a 10 year old in the 4th grade (we all gotta grow up sometime kids). His blood type is O, his birthday is on July 13, favorite color is green (me too!), favorite flower is peony (well that is what is says in the manga anyway..) and his favorite classes are gym and math but he hates Japanese since he's Chinese I guess he has a hard time in class.

Personality
You have to admit it. When you first meet Shaoran, you don't like him. He seems like a selfish little brat who's out to hurt everyone's feelings and steal the cards right? But as the show progresses, we get to know a better side of him. He turns out to be a caring, shy (he blushes every five seconds), karate-chopping hottie!

Love Life
He is engaged to Meilin who LOVES him with a passion. He doesn't love her the same way but he doesn't want ot hurt her feelings so he lets her keep dreaming. (That's kind of mean in a way..) He does however develop feelings for Yukito (A.K.A Julian in the U.S.A) America does not get to see that (which really sucks!). He becomes a rival for Yukito's heart with Sakura (Sakura's had a crush on him for the longest too!) When Eriol arrives, I believe that is when he begins to develop feelings for Sakura since Eriol was always hitting on her and he got super jealous. Later in the series, he finds out that there is a reason he attracted to Yukito, because of his MOON POWER! Yea folks, he's not gay! This is when he realizes, that he has been in love with Sakura the whole time! When this happens, (episode 60) he decides that he has to tell Meilin how he feels (he has to end their engagement) and she takes it pretty well, even though her heart was torn into a thousand little pieces! Well back to Sakura and Shaoran... Sakura is completely clueless like always, and it's not until the very end that he decides to confess his love to her. That poor guy, he's so shy it took him until the very end of the show to tell her, then he goes back to Hong Kong and doesn't see her until the second movie. In the second movie, their love for each other becomes the whole issue! It is so adorable!
