Meilin Li

Basics
Introduced in episode 20, Meilin is ten years old and in the fourth grade. She came to Japan apparantely chasing her one true love Shaoran. She has no magical powers, but is a great fighter. She is introduced as Shaorans fiancee and loves him with a passion. She was born on March 25 and her blood type is B, she is a great athlete and singer, that is why those are her favorite subjects in school! She hates Japanese because she is obviously Chinese and that is not her native tounge. Lotus is her favorite flower and I think just by watching the show, we assume her favorite color is red.

Personality
Meilin is a very bossy, jealous arrogant girl. But she also has a good side to her..LATER ON! Her character develops, just as a real person would. As she grows, she becomes a likable, caring person who does really nice things for others.

Love Life
Shaoran, Shaoran Shaoran!! Need I say more! She loves him and only him. She is his fiancee and loves him sooo much (I think its more of a obsession rather than love), well she sometimes tries to help him a little too much. Meilin tries to help him catch the clow cards but interferes more than helps, so much, that Shaoran gets soo mad and hurts her feelings. He tries not to, because he cares for her but doesn't exactly love her like she does. When they were little, they made a promise to each other, they would get married unless Shaoran found a girl that he was truly in love with. Well! When that day came, he had to tell her how he felt about Sakura and he did. She was heart broken, but I guess she loved him so much, that she let him pursue his happiness (Sakura) and she even tries to help Shaoran and Sakura by becoming their matchmaker. Meilin as Cupid she's so nice! ^_^
