Unusually Un-depressed

Sometimes I’m scared.
I’ll admit that.
Sometimes I want to give up.
But I won’t do that.
I’ve found my inner me,
filled with what I was lacking.
Not a light, persay,
A sphere of energy.
I’ll still relapse
But I can’t truly turn back
The gates have shut behind me.
I’ve found what was lost,
I’m whole again.
All I’ve been through
Was just the beginning.
But I know I can take it.
I’ll grow from it.
For the first time,
I know I’ll make it.
