Dear Daughter’s today, what I now see in you,

I never thought, that I might see it’s true,

A Mirror image, of beauty, colour and hue,

Rainbow reflections, surely so angelic too.

That day I cherished, those tiny baby feet,

I maybe inspired, a sure vision t'was sweet,

You’ve grown up today, my life is complete,

And challenges in life, to you were a treat.

But I see within, two sparkling eyes of you,

Endless gone before you and this is so true,

Auntie’s, Grandmother, many more others too,

Tenderness poise, in whatever you may do.

When God in Heaven, I may one day meet,

I’ll still sing for you, and ever always repeat,

Children like you blessing parents, such a treat,

Angelic daughter’s always treasured truly sweet.

Then mix the three well together.

Add within a sweet sentiment or two,

Occasional thoughtful wishes in time,

A touch of stardust, a sunshine ray,

It’s a recipe, for Sister’s like mine.
