like a shield

Description: This weapon extends the power of the manriki-gusari
by enabling the wielder to control many chains instead of one. In the
hands of a master, it can be truly frightening to behold.
The weapon's "ground state" is a bundle of several
lengths of iron chain, usually with morningstar balls or blades at the
ends, run through a handpiece, also of iron, in which is embedded a blue
orb inscribed with the weapon's name. To activate the weapon, the
wielder must spin it (requiring considerable skill just to avoid
self-injury) and command it to take a certain state.

The Iron Storm has three main forms, with a rumored
fourth that no fighter has ever invoked and lived. In order of
increasing power, they are:

Chain Shield: The chains of the Iron Storm extend and
form a barrier of moving chains in front of the wielder. This blocks
most force attacks and will deflect physical objects away. People who try
to run through the Chain Shield will also be deflected, but most likely
mangled as well. The wielder can move the Chain Shield around, but this
requires intense concentration.

Iron Snakes: This is a non-damaging attack form that
immobilizes opponents. When the Iron Snakes are invoked, the Iron
Storm's chains extend and pursue the target the wielder intends to aim them
at. The chains attempt to wrap themselves around the opponent and
prevent them from making attacks. It is also possible if not exactly ethical
for the wielder to do such nasty things to a bound opponent as command
the chains to bash him against the ground or crush him to death.

Storm of Steel: This is an all-out destructive attack
that will leave most opponents spread out in a 10-foot-diameter circle
of bloody pulp. When the Storm of Steel is commanded, the weapon's
chains extend and attack the opponent from all possible angles. This is
even more difficult to dodge than the Iron Snakes attack, and its purpose
is to kill rather than to disable. It can only be executed by a true
master of the weapon, and few have ever had need of it.

The rumored fourth form has only ever been used once,
if at all. The name used to summon it is not known, as no one has ever
heard it uttered near the weapon and lived. The fourth form, if it
indeed is such, is a "final strike": used by a badly injured wielder to
attain victory even at the ultimate price. When the name of the fourth
form is commanded, the weapon basically explodes, sending out a cloud of
iron fragments that will turn even the most powerful and dextrous
opponent into a bloody Swiss cheese. Unfortunately, the same thing happens to
the wielder, as well as anyone else who happens to be standing within
100 yards. The explosion does not affect the weapon.

Though this weapon's main forms (the first two)
technically make it a good device, it is capable of frightening harm in the
wrong hands.

Description: It's a stick made out of metal that absorbs wind from
one end and water from the other. The carrier twirls the stick to make
a cyclone appear which around themselves and the people they want
inside it with them. No one can enter it unless the user/carrier drains the
stick by pointing it to the sky and letting one element drop down by
the side. Ofcourse like most devices that are not part of the show
(*heehee) it can be destroyed if the Ensui or the Fuujin comes in contact
with it. Ofcourse if the user/carrier of the 'Cyclone Shield' owns either
the Ensui or the Fuujin it can double the power therefore making it
undestructable.

Description: Means: Lightning's Treachery

Power: Creates a bolt of lightning to destroy enemies or a net of electricity to guard the user against attacks.

Description: Bracelets. One is silver while the other is gold. Each bracelet has one gem; the gold has a crystal clear gem with the symbol "attack" engraved on it, the silver has a topaz in it with the symbol "protect" engraved in it. They will fit any users wrist, are aprox. 1" in length. The silver bracelet creates the net while the gold shoots the bolt (duh ^_^). Once completely mastered, the user may use either bracelet to create a net or bolt. Also when mastered, a double bolt may be created. They are practically indestructible while the gems are inserted; they can be destroyed as with other elemental weapons, however they are very hard to hit. The most power the braclets are capable of is with the Fuujin. This is accomplished by clamping the two next to one another and wearing the single version on one wrist whilst wearing the Fuujin on the other. If one accomplishes this, they may use the Inabikare's most powerful weapon, the "Ten no handan"! (Heaven's Judgement). This attack uses the powers of wind the Fuujin controls and the lightning power of the Inabikare no Uragiri to create a small Hurricane around the users opponent. Note: this technique requires tremendous amounts of will power, stamina, and strength, without the three the users life energy would be drained in a matter of seconds.

Description: A scythe weapon similiar to the Kougan Anki's Ryu form. The shape of the weapon is similiar to the Kougan Anki's Ryu form but the chain is surrounded by a purple/magenta-ish aura which makes it unbreakable. The blade is huge and can cut down a small forest in no time. When thrown, the chain can extend as long as 30 yards and can shorten and lengthen at the user's will. The blade is actually a living creature (it absorbs the souls of the people it killed) and will attack and follow the enemy at the user's will. The handle is actually just a collar of a sort to keep the blade from going out of control.
