Ganko Morikawa Age : 9 Gender : Female Grade : Nil Parents: Mother, deceased; Father, unknown Psychic Device(s): Puppet Converter Element: Dolls?

Ganko is a sweet girl who originally belonged to the Uruha Junior section. When Recca and gang entered the mansion to rescue Yanagi, one of the first enemies they encountered was Reiran Katashiro. At first, she used her dolls to fight against the three friends, but when Fuuko destroyed all of them with her Fuujin, Reiran decided to fight her one-on-one and managed to tie the unsuspecting Fuuko up with her puppet strings, allowing her to manipulate Fuuko like a doll. Her doll, "Primela", was commanded to kill Fuuko, and she began to slash Fuuko's arms and legs. However, just when Fuuko was about to faint from the pain, she noticed that during their fight, Reiran was never injured whenever she slashed her. She suddenly struck upon an idea and, using her Fuujin on herself to break the strings tying her up, she then managed to catch Reiran off guard and remove the device from her arm. However, after the device was removed, Reiran fell to the ground lifeless. Reiran Katashiro was actually a doll!

It turned out that "Primela" was actually the REAL psychic device master. Her mother had died recently, and Ganko had been very heartbroken, constantly crying and thus became the victim of the other kids' bullying. Pretending that she did not care, Ganko said "I don't need any friends! I have my dolls!" and took to wandering the streets. One day, she came across a mannequin in a store which looked exactly like her mother. From then on, she went back to the store every day just to stare at the doll.

During one of these "visits" she noticed a man, Kurei, watching her. He came up to her and asked her if she liked the doll very much. When she replied in the affirmative, he then handed over a psychic device called the "Puppet Converter" to her. Telling her to attach it to the doll, he watched as she did so, and to her great surprise and joy, the doll came alive! However, Kurei told her that he would only give her the Puppet Converter if she agreed to work under him. Fearing that her "mother" would be lost to her forever, she consented.

After hearing Ganko's story, Fuuko immediately hugged and comforted her, inviting her to join them. ( I quote Ganko "You smell so nice! Just like Mama...") At first she was afraid that Kurei would punish her, but when Fuuko promised that they would protect her, she decided to follow them.

Ganko is closest to Fuuko out of all of the Hokage, and she also owns a stuffed fox called Kondo which she brought to life with the puppet converter, much to the dismay of Recca and Domon, who are always getting insulted by it. ^_^.

1) Ganko is now living in Fuuko's house. (At least in the manga)
2) In the manga, she still has Reiran as a playmate. (It seems Fuuko insisted on saving Reiran from the burning mansion even though she (it?) wasn't human.
