Created to help user to turn every picture to a
wonderful tapestry, this program features:

Converts
24bit color image to custom palette (DMC, Anchor, etc.) image.

Palette
optimization to small number of colors N is performed, N
is chosen by the user.

Various
types of tunings are available to refine the result image during palette
optimization.

Map
all colors to custom set of symbols preserving the color brightness
order.

Creates
symbol based color-map in PDF format. The generated map could be colored
(including symbols and corresponding colors) or black & white (symbols
only).

A
list of all used colors with their names and numbers, according to the
palette, and info about how many times they are used is available.

Additional
statistic per color is made to help user determine thread length used.

The
size of symbols printed on the map could be customized.

All
the symbols used by the program are carefully selected to be easy
distinguishable and are encapsulated in custom TrueType-font.
