It had been nearly a week since Amber had caught Hannah’s emotional outburst.  Ever since then, all of Hannah’s friend’s had been formulating plans.  Plans to get her home, and if all went well, plans for her to see Scott Stapp.

“Okay her dad knows she’s coming.”  Amber thought out each step.

They were huddling in the teacher’s lounge, knowing the girls and Hannah were far away in dreamland in their connecting dorms.  It had been a gang up sort of plan; she had no choice but to go to Tennessee when they dropped it on her.  Sascha and William were well prepared to carry her to the plane if the problem occurred.  With their bait though, they doubted that would be.

“One problem,” The ever-spunky and sweet Kandace interjected, “just because we send Hannah to Scott, doesn’t mean they’ll fall in love.  They’ve got a lot of loose ties between them.”
“And we know Hannah is a as stiff as pole when she’s been hurt.”  Sascha leaned up against the cabinets.
“You obviously know by experience.”  Kandace mumbled as Sascha glared at her.
“And Scott hurt her.”  Abby whispered sadly, throwing her red hair into a messy bun.
“I doubt either of them will be very open to romantic intentions right now.”  William sighed lowly, sitting on the counter.
“You know, you people are ruining my brilliant planning.”  Amber growled, frustrated.
“Guess it wasn’t so brilliant after all.”  Amber looked at her sympathetically, “It was a good try.”
“It would’ve been nice to see them back together.”  Kandace sighed.
“She’d be so much happier, she misses him.”  William jumped off the counter feeling dejected.
“And it would make no sense for us to follow her to Tennessee.”  Jesse finally chimed in sadly.

Amber didn’t move,

“Jesse, you’re a genius.”
“What?”  They all looked at Amber like she’d gone off the deep end.
“That’s it!  It’s the perfect plan!”  Amber shouted joyfully.
“Amber what’s wrong with you?  Come back to us Amber!”  William shook her.
“Listen you idiot,” Amber grabbed him by the shoulders, “we follow her to Tennessee and set them up.”
“That might work.”  Kandace thought.
“Would Scott still want her?”  Abby questioned.
“We can’t force them to fall in love!”  Jesse tried to shout sense into them, “It would’ve been nice, it was an idea.  But it just wouldn’t work.”

They all calmed down and returned their normal human states.

“Jesse is right, we can prepare everything we want.  But we can’t force them to rekindle a romance that’s been buried for six years.”  William theorized.
“All we can do is get them in the same state and hope nature takes it’s course, like it did six years ago.”  Kandace finished.
“But how do we get Scott to Tennessee?  How will they get together?”  Ambrosia wanted to know.
“I’ll get Scott to Tennessee,” William’s gruff voice interjected, “As for their meeting you ask.  Once they know each other is near … they’ll need no prompting.”  He silently left the room.

They all stared at one another, amazed at William’s frankness.  He was never gruff and stiff; it just wasn’t his character.  They all knew there was more than the British sweetheart was letting show.  His eyes seemed to harden and loose their sparkle when Scott was mentioned.  It made them wonder if there had been more then friendship for Hannah in William’s eyes.

Chapter Four: The Plot Thickens

“Can you get him home?”  A sleek blond man whispered into a phone.
“Yes.”  An intriguing Italian answered on the other end, trying not laugh.  This espionage get-up was too funny.
“She will be harder to persuade.”  The blond-haired man thought aloud.
“Continue as you were, I will bait her.  When I’m done she’ll be running to Tennessee.”  A smile was evident in the Italian speaker’s voice.
“As for the gentleman?”  Asked the blond one.
“His plane ticket is all ready bought.”
“God, we’re such a bunch of idiots!’  Will laughed along with Mark.

The man on the receiving end replied, and the ‘mysterious’ conversation was abruptly ended.

“All right, so Scott’s headed there?”  Amber asked, once again in the teacher’s lounge.
“Correct.”  William replied.
“Now all we do is wait.”  Kandace sat in a chair at the table.
“Hannah!”  Abby’s shrill scream rang through the halls.

Amber, Sascha, Will, and Kandace raced outside and awaited the beginning of their elaborate masquerade.

Students clamored on of their classrooms, all part of the trap Scott and Hannah were happily falling into.  Hannah gently squeezed past her students and rushed to Abby’s side.

“What is it?”  Hannah grabbed her hysterical friend by the shoulders.
“Your father…hospital…car accident.”  Abby stammered her grief like a great actress.
“Daddy, is he hurt?”  Hannah begged.

Abby nodded letting tears stream down her face.  Hannah soothed her friend, taking her into her arms and holding her.

“Get me a ticket to Tennessee immediately.”  She ordered Amber, still holding a quieted Abby.
“We’ll pack your bags.”  Will and Sascha offered.
“I’ll call the hospital, to let them know you’re coming.”  Kandace whispered.

So Hannah had been wrapped into their web of lies.  Plus due to his slight emotional breakdown, Mark and Phillips had convinced Scott to go home and relax.  Now all they had to do was put them together and wait.
