"Yeah. Sure."
Jacki checked to make sure they could each get a pic with him and then one group shot.
'Sure. That is cool."
They each got a single shot with him and a group shot as well.
After the pictures, Jovi pointed out a very tattooed guy in the room.
"Is that DJ Sandy?" Mark looked across the room and said yeah. DJ Sandy came over and started to talk to Mark. Jovi stood back and watched.
When Mark was done talking to DJ Sandy, he smiled at the girls again. Each girl then hugged him. Jacki hugged him and said thanks for his time. Jovi hugged him and planted a big kiss on his cheek. She smiled and laughed.
"I am Latin, what do you expect??" Jovi giggled.
Once DJ Sandy left, the girls thanked him again and they backed off. He asked if anyone knew where Scott Philips was. He wanted to play Ping-Pong. Jacki and Jovi parked their bottoms at a table and watched the game. The game progressed and Jacki asked Scottie who was winning. He grimaced and pointed at Mark. Mark smiled.
The girls could not believe they were watching Mark and Scottie play Ping-Pong. Soon Scottie disappeared again and Mark was left gameless. Jovi's friend soon showed back up and said he would play Mark. Jacki was too much of a chicken to join him and Jovi was having fun watching. The game was fun. Mark paused the game and took his sweatshirt off. As the girls watched this everyday occurrence happen, they didn't expect to see his shirt almost come off too. Jovi and Jacki couldn't help but feel like teenyboppers. This was a once in a lifetime happening.
He threw the sweatshirt on the floor. He ran and got his cell phone and put it on his sweatshirt on the floor. He rejoined the game.
They watched the guys play some more. Jacki got to chase down a wild Ping-Pong ball. Jovi got nailed in the chest by a wild ball as well. At one point, Jacki and Jovi switched places and Jacki almost got nailed in the face by Mark's paddle. They did not know that ping pong was considered a full contact sport. They played two games and when Mark was losing in the second game he got called away. He left his sweatshirt on the floor. The table remained idle for a while. Mark came back out and was talking with a group of people. All of a sudden he went booking across the room and picked his phone up. Jovi looked at Jacki.
"How in the hell did he hear that?" Jovi wondered.
Jacki shrugged.
Mark went backstage again with his phone. Jacki looked at Jovi.
"Wanna play?" She smiled. They went over to the table. They did not care if they were breaking any rules by playing Ping-Pong. They were here to have a good time. The ping pong ball started to fly. ALL OVER THE ROOM. The girls were having a great time. Jovi went to reach for a ball and noticed Mark's sweatshirt on the floor. She looked at Jacki.
Soon, Mark wandered back out, with the phone attached to his ear. Jovi did not see him coming and she bent over to get a ball. When she stood up she almost ran into Mark.
"Excuse me." he said and smiled. Jovi smiled back.
He went backstage again. The girls continued to "play" Ping-Pong.
Jacki noticed that Mark came back out and did not have his phone. He was on the other side of the room but would occasionally look over to the Ping-Pong game that was going on. Jacki felt calmer now.
Mark disappeared a little while later and the girls stopped playing Ping-Pong. It was getting close to show time so the girls made their way over to Brett. Jacki stopped him and told him that he was a great bass player. He thanked her for those words. They introduced themselves.
"We were at the Tampa show last night." Jovi said.
"Wow, you were? That is cool."
"I saw you at the first show of the tour in Chicago." Jacki added.
Brett got a pained look on his face.
"Uh, that show wasn't so good." He smiled.
"I did not think it was that bad. It was good for your first show with the other guys."
'Well thank you. It was great to meet you girls." He said bye and went backstage.
The girls looked at each other.
"We just met all of Creed." Jacki said. Jovi nodded.

The girls went out to their seats. The show started and they were ready to rock. Jovi and Jacki had glow sticks again and they went wild. At one point, Scott Stapp came over to their side of the stage. Jacki and Jovi jumped up and down. He looked out over the pit and seemed to smile and wave at them. It was a neat part of the show for the girls. The show went by too quickly.
The songs were the same, but this show was different for the girls. They had met the personalities on the stage. They had shared some time with each member of the band. They had done what people dream of. "What's This Life For" began and it really set Jacki off. She knew this was the last song of the set before the encore. Jacki's eyes immediately filled with tears. She had told mark how much this song meant to her. The song was a big part of her life. She sang along and thanked God. Jovi looked over at Jacki and let her enjoy the moment. Soon Scott was thanking everyone for being there and they went off the stage.
The guys came back on after the loud calling and cheering. "One" started and the girls rocked out. "Higher" stared and the girls made their way out of their seats and to the center of the walkway. The adventure was drawing to a close. The last pyrotechnics went off and the two Florida shows ended. Jacki and Jovi were still riding high on the adrenaline. They waited around after the show for a while. They let all the crazies get out of the venue. Soon they found themselves walking to the car.

Thursday morning Jacki woke up first. Jovi was asleep in the other bed. Jacki turned over and looked at her. Jovi pulled the blanket down from her face.
"We met Mark Tremonti." Jacki whispered.
"I know." She smiled.

Jacki and Jovi were able to do something that a lot of you only dream of. This all happened so perfectly. Everything was orchestrated down to when they got places and left. It was as if fate had stepped in and propelled them to this. It is going to be hard for the girls to return to their "normal" lives. They have touched something they never thought they could grasp. Right now they are still riding the high they experienced. Was it positivity, good thoughts, fate, destiny or God? Whatever allowed them to be able to be here, they have many thanks to give.
