Web site for the Startrek lovers of today and tommorow:
It is the year 2385 (five years after Star Trek: Nemesis). The Federation has a new enemy, the Zingarians. Located on the edge of the Alpha Quadrant, their territory is vast and their temperment is warlike. Until now they did not know of the existence of any more species in the Alpha Quadrant. That has all changed.

With news that the Zingarians are preparing to invade Earth, the Federation decides to build a large convoy of ships that will travel to the edge of the Beta Quadrant and set up a New Federation. Along with several Titan-class colony ships and starships to protect them, the USS Dragon has been assigned to coordinate the recolonization.

In the face of the Zingarian threat, the Dragon and its valiant crew are the Federation's last hope. . . .

The USS Dragon is a brand new Akira-class vessel. Versatile light-crusiers, the Akira class fills a very important niche in starship design. It is a formidable combination of exploration and tactical technology. Although the vessel is primarily devoted to combat and patrol duties, the Dragon boasts the most advanced in starship sensor palettes.

While Starfleet planned to discontinue the Akira Class after the end of the Dominion War, the discovery of the Zingarians prompted them to produce several more models. A new treaty with the Romulans has outfitted the Dragon with a specially modified cloaking device.

The Bridge is arranged nearly identically to that of a Sovereign class, with one major difference. Maintenance shafts in the two aft turbolift alcoves allow access to the A, B, and C decks above the Bridge which store torpedoes and phaser banks.
This is a picture of what the bridge MIGHT look like, we are now on mission two.

USS Dragon Mission1
Mission 1 The Undiscovered Country

Fleet Admiral Tarek beamed aboard The USS-Dragon with and top-secret message from Star Fleet Command They Descovered theat the zingarains decided to Invade. We immediately were sent to rendezvous with two Titanic Class colony ships, two Prometheus Class ships, and two Defiant Class.

Are mission was to set course for a top-secret installation, a trans warp facility that would send the small fleet into the BetaQuadrant. Their mission was to create a federation presence in the Beta quadrant well before the Zingary invaided the alpha Quadrant. We also have the parts for a new federation space station in the Titanic class Colony ship. That will be the first thing built when we arrive

Their first mission was to find an uninhabited planet and colonize it. The Titanic Class were each able to hold up to 100,000 personal. Total people in all ships, including the crews were 300,000 people, which included 10,000 Marines. There were also a total of 500 star fighters and 200 tanks and armored vehicles sent.

The Titanic Classes also carried the equipment to build a shipyard in space and other facilities on the planet. The mission of the ships is to protect the colonies that will be on three different planets to start with.

Mission 2: Uncertain Allegiances
Mission Briefing
------------------------------------------

After two weeks of repairs in dry dock, the USS Dragon is now ready to rejoin the evacuation fleet in the Tiren system, where a massive prototype trans-warp hub has been constructed to facilitate their journey to the far edge of the Beta Quadrant.

Expected in the Tiren system are Klingon and Romulan ships as well. The Klingons and Romulans have grudgingly agreed to go along with Starfleet's plan, but are not interested in participating widely. The Klingons feel that it is cowardly to run, while the Romulans feel secure and unthreatened by the Zingarians.

The Dragon crew is now at maximum capacity, with 65 more marines. All crew with non-debilitating injuries have recovered, those who have not recovered have been replaced.

(Until Cdr. Dorhan returns we will have an npc in his place, her name will be
Lt. Cathy Burns, I encourage all players to user her in the story line. For this will be our helm officer until Dorhan returns.)

The mission begins with the Dragon leaving drydock and setting a course for the Tiren system . . .

Whats happened so far:

I turned around in my chair and looks at T'lan,
Smiled and said
" Ensign T'lan you are late for duty, please dont let it happen again! under stood"
Not waiting for and answer, i turned back around, and started reading status reports.

"I have to do my work outs every day," I was swamped with work earler and "busy with breakfest in the morning," and yet, he expects me to be at my post early and "on time every day, how dare he", he knows my life is a busy thing, but still, "who would know he was so rude at times." T'Lan thught, voicing some of her opinion, even though no one but the captian heard any of it, "some times I wonder." Said T'Lan aloud.

the Captain Turned around
" Ms T'lan My Office now!!"
he said in a gruff voice.
the whole bridge crew looked at him with fear.. not knowing what had happend.
he walked into his office and waited for T'lan
sat down and looked at her.
"Dont you ever question me again do you hear?
this is my ship, and my bridge. no have no right to do that. If you ever even think of doing that again I will throw you in the Brig am I clear!!!"
not even waiting for an answer he turned aroun and said
"Dissmissed"
he waited for her to leave.
=/\= "Mayweather to Mr Babcock. please report to my office.=/\=
and then he cut the comline.

T'Lan had not yet leffed his office when he called Mr. Babcook, "Why are you calling him to your office, what did he do wronge, and why are you yelling at me! I did nothing wronge, or is thinking my own personal thoughts wronge? I can't beleive this crew, all you ever do is complain, go ahead, I dare you to through me in the brig, but that won't salve anything now will it? I am your main science officer on this ship, who would replace me? You know what? Don't even answer these questions, I don't fell like hearing your answers, good-day" T'Lan turned and went to the Turbo-lift, "Crew quarters, now."

after leaving. Mayweather called security.
=/\="Security team apprihend T'lan, use all force nessesary, pute her in the brig for lets say two day's
and shes to have no contact with other personell"=/\=
=/\= Yes sir team dispatched."=/\=
Mayweather continued waiting for Babcock

By that time, T'Lan had gotten to her quarteers and locked the door, she changed the codes so that nobody could get in sat down and read a great book.

"God, a space happy Vulcan during a critical mission, just what we need." Wagner says.

"If she endangers the mission critically, I have no choice but give you the authority to fire on her."

((I know I'm supposed to be in your office, but because I'm a little lost I think I'll backtrack here))

Ben noticed a transporter shield go up around T'Lan's quarters.

He shook his head and routed power away from the shield and then deactivated the alarms. Looking up at the captain he said, "Does she need some time in the Brig, sir, or shall we leave her be?"

T'Lan put up the sheild again, and decodes it so nobody can take it back down.

((Excellent example of godmoding, eh  ))

=/\= "She's violating some obscure sort of protocol that involves compromising power distribution integrity, sir." =/\= says Ben as he notices the shield go up.

He sighed again. It was like fighting the computer--it was fighting the computer. T'Lan was basically telling the computer to put up the shield using any available power, and he was telling it to send no power to the shield. This confused the computer, and it really was an engineering risk--although not a serious one, a risk nonetheless.

=/\= "Babcock to T'Lan. Your actions are unauthorized, you have contravened my own authority, and have endangered the power integrity of the ship, eh. Any further unauthorized uses of ship resources will be met with confinement to the Brig." =/\=

This time he essentially shuts down all power to her quarters, save life support. She can't even access a computer console.

Wagner remiscnted about a post he had on the USS Kawolski, when he was Chief of Security as he descended to T'Lan's deck.

Don't let them bring down the ship....he remembered Captain Marlock saying to him.

He exited and was greeted by 2 security officers at T'Lan's door.
Wagner knocked hardly at T'Lan's door.

"T'Lan, this is the Vice-Admiral, I order you to open this door!" he says.
Wagner growled at the silence from the quarters.

He invoked his command authority on the code lock, and the door opened.

The security officers followed and another detail stood by the door as it closed.

Wagner surveyed the room and looked at T'Lan, very angrily.

In Old High Vulcan he said "You have acted illogically."
Wagner growled mechanically again,

"No respect for rank eh?" he says, pulling his collar out for her to see the boxed pips. "I'm several heads above you, and so far I'll let it slide, but if you keep this insubordination nonsense going, I'll drum you out of the Fleet and toss you in the civilian transports personally!"

His mechanical hand rotated and closed its fingers with a loud snap.

T'Lan says "Yes sir." T'Lan walks out of the room, she enters the bridge and apoligizes for her behavior, then she walks up to the new member, "High welcome to the USS-Dragon." T'Lan offers her hand.

This has been a short update on what has been happening on the USS-Dragon with the crew.
