Dear Ms. Hammer;
First Wave fans have heard First Wave may not return for another season and may in fact be
cancelled on The Sci-Fi Channel. If this is the case, please consider instead, renewing the show
for a fourth and fifth season. Fans know Sci-Fi was recently nominated as one of the top 10
cable channels in ratings and believe First Wave helped it to get there.
When First Wave reached good ratings (in the 1.0 area) in the Monday Nite Prime slot this past
January-March 2001, fans heard Sci-Fi was interested in renewing First Wave for more seasons.
We were so excited at the prospect, yet have heard nothing from Sci-Fi on renewal.
We appreciate the Sci-Fi Channel for acquiring 3 seasons of First Wave and are asking Sci-Fi to
acquire a 4th and 5th season. Perhaps Sci-Fi Management could bring First Wave Season 4 into
it's 2002 production slate. Knowing more new First Wave is coming would certainly be worth the
wait! Please don't let First Wave Season 3 be it's last.
The fans of First Wave are as passionate as the Trekies of Star Trek. First Wave fans believe
there are more First Wave stories to tell of Cade, Eddie, Joshua, Jordan and the Second Wave
of Armageddon.
We love this show for so many reasons. Some love the slightly dark and foreboding sci-fi stories
by Chris Brancato and his writing team. Others love the buddy aspect of Cade & Eddie. Many go
for the role duality of Roger Cross and Traci Lords. Still others get absolutely wild for the
sexy portrayal of alien hunter Cade Foster, by Sebastian Spence.
We want Sci-Fi Management to know how much we love it and want more new First Wave on the Sci-Fi
channel. Please make it happen and bring back First Wave for a fourth and fifth season.
