Jon is an experienced manager, fundraiser and entrepreneur. Jon has created several Internet businesses that use technology to create efficiencies in corporations and governments.
Jon was a partner with Recognition Group, a full-service restructuring advisory and principal investment firm. Jon managed restructurings preserving more than $100M of invested capital including a financing that stabilized 3 private companies and a public company via reverse merger.
Jon served as founding CEO of NetClerk, Inc., a forms-based transaction company that processed middleware products for the construction industry doing business with state and local government, acquired in 2002 by ConstructWorks, a privately held company in Chicago, Illinois. Jon supervised the development of proprietary solutions in 1,700 U.S. municipalities to aid in the streaming, publishing, submitting, meta-data mapping and collating of information within Adobe Acrobat files. Jon also led multi-million dollar partnerships with Home Depot, Lowe's and Sears, growing NetClerk to 75 full-time employees and 20 consultants, before recruiting an executive from SprintPCS to be CEO.
Jon also served as founding CEO of AutoReach, Inc., a consumer Web site featuring California automotive dealer inventories, acquired in 1996 by Tasha Automotive Group (TAG), ranked 344 in the Forbes Private 500 U.S. companies. Jon, at age 25, became TAG's Director of Internet Sales and Marketing (AutoReach Division) reporting directly to the COO of the 3,000-employee company. TAG was subsequently sold to AutoNation(NYSE: AN).
Jon was also Regional Director at Auto-By-Tel(NASDAQ: ABTL) and San Francisco Supervisor Michela Alioto’s 1998 California Secretary of State campaign. Jon served as the principal architect of the first online, searchable contributions database for a statewide political campaign in California.
Jon serves as a trustee of the Nueva School(Hillsborough, CA)as well as a board member of two private companies. Jon is also a non-profit fundraiser.
Jon left Vassar College to begin his technology career and worked at night to complete his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Francisco.
