Our plan was to do some indoor climbing. We plan to be a proud member of Power Up club by getting a 2-year membership. Again, Wowo was locale, so Grace had to ask Christian for help in locating the indoor climbing gym. It turned out that the indoor climbing gym was no longer available. So we went hotel shopping where I soon discover Wowo was usable to me, he was our walking coupon. We checked out some of the finest hotels..."
New World,
Makati Shangri-La Hotel", and "Oakwood". Grace and I like the "
New World"...just the mere thought is rejuvenating. Afterwards, we went to lunch at Wok Inn at the City of Malate. We had sipa, sea cucumber, squid, shrimp, and wontons - yummy! The food just seems to be getting better and better. Afterwards, it appears that we were making a church day of it. We drop by the Church of Malate to attend another wedding. This church reminds me of the Trinity Church in New York City, USA. We also dropped by Manila Cathedral so Wowo and Grace can rehearse their wedding. At this point, Wowo had paid a total of approximately P30 to "parking attendents", so I told him not to park at San Augustin church for another P10. Grace decided to use the P10 by dropping me off to snap a San Augustin picture and get hounded by the horse carriage driver while they go around the block to get a quickie. We drove by some of the other tourist spots like Rizal Park, kinda like Central Park in New York City and the Philippines Cultural Center . Tonight, I pleaded sickness to Wowo and Grace cause I was truly sick. I was constipated and every which way that I moved, hurted. I also had a sore throat and a headache that won't go away. Wowo and Grace bought medicine for me - prune juice, dried prunes, papaya, green tea, aspirin and lozenges (why don't they just feed me with the dirty tap water, so I'll get out of their face?!?!) before running off to meet Grace's friends for dinner at Dish! Mari: I think that I better make up stories about them so you would want to read on. |
