Chloe hunched over her laptop, the cursor on the laptop blinking maddeningly. At this point she was ready for any distraction, especially in the form of her girlfriend leaning over her to say, "How's this for a story? Ancient mystic energy source in love with local journalist."
"I think I'm more interested in the follow-up," said Chloe mock-seriously between kisses.
"And what's that?" teased Dawn.
"How the journalist loves her too."
"Now that's front page news."
"Stop the press." And the intertwined pair snaked away to their bed, leaving the glaring white of the computer screen to blink in peace.
