Naked

Andrew feels like he's naked when Warren looks at him. Perhaps 'naked' is the wrong word here. There's no sexual connotations, just his unguarded vulnerabilities displayed to all like the circuitry of a computer.
Then he thinks that he's just overreacting. The problem is he's got nothing to which to compare it, unused as Andrew was to people looking at him instead of through him. Warren is quite an intense person, and there's nothing particular that marks out any difference between his behaviour towards Andrew as compared to Jonathon.
These were the thoughts that ran threw Andrew's head late at night. He'd find some way to reassure himself to sleep where he would dream of demons and robots and dark eyes steadily fixed on the back of his neck.
