This year's Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Races were held at Stanton, Michigan's Mid-Michigan Motorplex on September 13-14, 2002. Once again, the hard work of Bob Boden and Dan Jensen paid off for the approx. 120 entrants in this year's field. Was a good place to see some old friends, and to make some new ones. A couple of new entrants showed up this year to help spice up the field.
I thought my GTS was "rare" being a 1 of 2623 produced / 1 of 367 remaining. HA! As you will see in the descriptions below, there were some REALLY RARE rides running out there!! If you ever attend one of these events, you will spend your time constantly saying to yourself: "WOW! I can't remember the last time I saw one of those!" Or, "I have NEVER seen one of those!!!"
I have gathered some pictures to share with you from the 2002 PSMCDR event. Some may be contained in the 2001 edition on my web network. But I don't mind looking at some again, and I hope you don't either! Karen and I had a BLAST at this year's event, and hope to repeat for years to come!
