Singer Elena Maria Castro Canas a native Of Sevilla, Spain is a graduate of the University of Sevilla with a Diploma in Philosophy. She studied Flamenco dance at Madusa Garrido Academy  and La Serrana School of Flamenco in Sevilla.

In Spain she has sung with Carretera Carmona Musical Group and in 1999-2000 she performed Flamenco at the Feria de Barcelona. In Dublin she performed with Flamenco y Más and sang in local clubs with Jaleo.
