"Guys, am I glad that Zarkon has not tried any strange attacks today," Keith told the Voltron Force and the Planeteers. "Yeah, and Lotor is not prowling around either." Allura sure was happy about that. "Your planet seems very clean," Kwame pointed out. "Well, we all try to take good care of it. Unfortunately, the evil of Doom often try to wreck our land and its people. Not so much to make money, but to have power and control over us," Coran sighed. "Well, if those bad guys try to mess with you while we are here, we sure will help you kick their butts away!" Wheeler said enthusiastically. "I am afraid it will not be so easy," Romelle warned them. "They try to conquer our planet too." Unfortunately, Romelle would be right. "I don't know what else to do to conquer the galaxy. Every time I try something, the Voltron Force trashes my plans." Zarkon was yelling at Lotor, Hagar and Merla. "It seems to me they can conquer every spell I put on them," Hagar said furiously. "Their inner strength is bigger than any magic I put on them." "I just want Allura all for myself," Lotor said, just as furious as Hagar. "Hey, everyone, check that out!" Merla pointed at the window. "So what Merla, it's just a comet," Lotor said, unsurprised. "Yeah, but it has a strange glow to it. It seems to be traveling towards us, as if it were more a spaceship than a comet." The Doom bad guys exited the palace and went to check out the comet. Their jaws dropped when they saw a door open from the comet's fireball. A bunch of robo-guards went to attack at the door. They were pulverized instantly. Zarkon and company had never been so freaked out. A ghostly figure walked majestically out of the comet. "Just what I am looking for!" the spirit said. "Who, or may I say what, are you?" Zarkon asked. "Don't question authority." "I am the authority here. Lotor, Cossack, seize him!" Lotor and Cossack took out their swords. But the spirit stopped them in their tracks. "Relax everyone. My name is Zarm, and I have a great offer for you all." "How do you know who we are and what we want?" Hagar asked, a genuine look of inquiry in her face. "I am Zarm, the evil former spirit of the planet known as Earth. I travel worlds searching for evil. I will annihilate any good existing in the universe. And I can see your forces have the same purpose as I do." "How do we know you are not a trap?" Lotor asked. "Does this look like a trap to you?" Zarm flashed a beam from his hand and turned Hagar's black cat into an ugly Venus Fly Trap plant. "Amazing. So what brings you to Planet Doom then?" Zarm now had the Doom guys' undivided attention. "Well, I have gotten tired of attacking the Earth, so I decided to find myself another living planet to plunder. And I see that you are bent on annihilating the life in the Denubian Galaxy planets." "We especially want the planets Arus and Pollux. The people there are just too good to leave alone." Hagar said "Then Arus and Pollux we shall plunder." However, Zarm did not tell the Doom henchmen why did he not mess with the Earth anymore. So Zarkon and company knew nothing about Captain Planet and the Planeteers. But they would find out sooner than they expected. Back on Planet Arus... "Bozhe moy! The computer is giving an alert," Linka told Allura. "Oh my, that means that the Doom villains are trying to attack someone." "Heart." Ma-Ti used his powers to see who would be the victims this time. "Darn, it's us! They are headed towards Arus! But why?" "Because they hate seeing us being prosperous and peaceful!" Hunk yelled. "Voltron Force, Planeteers, I don't know if this is Doom attacking," Coran told them. "That does not look like a Doom ship or Robeast." Coran pointed at the comet in the computer screen. "Probably Merla came up with a new machine," Pidge said. But when the Planeteers saw the comet on the screen, their jaws dropped in horror. "That's no machine! That's ZARM!" Gi said in stark terror. Part 3 |
