"A Musician's Love"
- His hands caressingly withdraws his lady
from her delicate shell.
- Reverberating passions hold her gently,
- mesmerized by his virtuosity.
- What soul would dare the clamorous cacophony
- of scores clashing with jarring impact
- when there are other strings to be played?
- Not he, whose veins are aflamed
- while strumming light fingers call her forth,
- darling croons of a lover's coarse,
- what a sweet melodious prize.
- With the skill of a master, wearing Mozart's
crown,
- he prepares her for a symphonizing affair
-
- No meaningless words are uttered,
- only a deep resonating sigh of amorous moans.
- Erogenous notes played on Cupid's scale;
- she sings of his endearing serenade,
- and I fill with similar longings.
- Her hollow tone beckons to me,
- harmonious with the pulsating strings
- attached to my soul.
- Listening to the song of your passions
- while you thoroughly play her along,
- I dream of you and me interwoven within the
guitar's
- song.

"Untitled"
- I walked upon a road made of brimstone and
shale.
- Rushing forward into the passages of Hell.
- Demon-spawn ravaged my innocent flesh,
- While wails of lost souls echoed my lost
rest.
- No fiery road dared I to traverse,
- Into the darkened halls, my spirit arrests.
- Shackled in misery, this isolated soul,
- Yet my stubborn feet refused to let go.
- Blind to your passage a decade before,
- I clawed and I crawled though that blazing
door.
- My eyes became mole dust, my brain infectious
puss.
- I cursed creation, forsaking all else.
- You exited this realm when in, screaming,
I fell.
- You praised your creator with the rising
of dawn.
- I huddled in nightfall, overdosing on woe.
- The dark minion stepped in, then relinquished
his hold.
- The battle was fought for heaven and hell.
- On the battlements lay a wretched shell,
- A wondrous flame began to explode
- Life's pulsating face rose for me to hold.
- Each step that I took drew me close to you,
- Dancing outside Hell's gate, your life becomes
renewed.
- I followed your shadow, forcing my pace along;
- Lingering feet falter at the crossroads,
forlorn.
- Filled with energy, I fly down that road,
- Feeling vitality as each seedling unfolds.
- I step on the branch to find our hands twined.
- You ask for friendship; I falter this time.
- As never allowed through my life in hell,
- Overwhelming passions course through this
lonely cloud.
- Our spirit journey finds a harmonious road;
- Hope rejuvenates two once banished souls.
- "Mind-Bites"
- (there are 25 pieced to Mindbites, this is
the first of that collection)

-
- A butterfly dances on an outstretched hand;
- Two intriguing eyes are satisfied.
- Where the gorgon lies, pegasus flies;
- Reality survives in this fairyland.
-
- I enter life's realm, a shuddering dream
- Where surreal hero's can never succeed.
- Your voice is echoed in my inner lobe,
- Pleading with me to let you go.
-
- The butterfly dances upon your soft breast,
- Lured to your side by your essence.
- Though you never wished to cause her harm,
- Your manly breath bruises her delicate arms.
-
- I struggle against my inner demons,
- No fanciful thoughts for a gallant knight.
- My only weapon, a rusted out pen,
- The black tip breaks when they rush in.
-
- The butterfly glides from your embrace;
- Her shackled frame becomes a tattered disgrace.
- You dared to place love's bonds upon a free
soul;
- Now she is only a gaping hole.
- "Mortal Vs. Immortal Love"
-
- The morning star dwindles with the rise of
Hellos.
- She goes to the window where she spies a
new day.
- The burning sea beckons; she wanders to the
shore.
- Searching for the treasures from some long
ago lore.
- A little trinket buried in the sand,
- Poseidon's small gift for her lovely hands,
- A tiny white shell, a pebble of glass,
- A chunk of coral from the ocean floor.
- In eager delight she collects her prize.
- She bows to accept his watery pride.
- Brazen images of forgotten days,
- Carefree naiads dance upon sighing waves.
- A caressing touch on a maiden's foot,
- Innocent laughter, she plays with these thoughts.
- A passing gull cries, echoing his shame.
- One decomposed soul dressed in seaweed clothes.
- Grimacing, she flees, then halts by his sea.
- His siren's song urges her close.
- She peers into the blue-grey fog.
- Images of forgotten lands
- Appear before her inner eye.
- The days of mortal and immortal love
- Obscure history's fading days of myth.
- She casts aside her daily life
- For ghostly dreams of the god's lies.
- His powerful tides pull her body in;
- His watery arms encircle her form.
- Mesmerized by his godlike shape,
- She moans in his lingering wake.
- Only for this brief time, she sighs,
- Shaking off his briny embrace.
- Old religions have no such place
- Within this realm, a modern stage.
- Hands pull away, fleeting forms fade.
- Where those his salty tears? A lashing wave
appears.
- No loving eyes to see his pain;
- She returns to her mundane way.
