World Timelines On this site, you can find historical timeleines for the whole world and for all historical periods. Useful especially for finding out what was happening in several different nations at the same time. |

Channel A very useful site. Search by period or keyword
for all periods of History, world and American. Informational articles
contain embeded links for dozens and dozens of other history sites releated
to the topics you look up on this page. And yes, it will tell you
about what will appear on the History Channel if you absolutely have to
approach history via a video screen instead of a page.
