Back to the old country
The Conker tree is alive and well!
Before the age of road, rail and air travel, there was
CANALS!
A short walk along this canal,
to see some canal boats, and,
Foxton Locks.
A series of 10 locks to get the boats up and down the hill
Pretty impressive.
Considering it could take some hours to move a boat
from one end to the other, it's not surprising that there's
a pub at the top and the bottom of the hill
A Bear's gotta do what a Bear's gotta do
