The Pontcysylite Aqueduct is over 300m long and 40m high, its 18 arches cary the Llangollen Canal across the valley. ![]() The aqueduct seen from the valley floor ![]() We were lucky enough to see a canal boat crossing the aqueduct (notice the absence of a safety rail!)
