18/12/2001: Conwy to Llandovry

The grand plan was to head down to the Gowan Peninsula
By the time we got to Llandovery, it was too late, so here's some photos
from the trip down

The Welsh mountains

Patrick was most interested in the windmills

Lunch at Aberystyth, a pretty seaside town

Plus a 'paddle' at the local 'beach'

At Llandovery, we had a room with a view of the castle

(Here's the real view)

Llywelan castle (or what's left of it)

Another one of those roads you have to be careful with
Watching a semi-trailer negotiate this was interesting
(That's 'our' pub on the left)

Llywelyn

I don't know either!
