The local church is very pretty.
In 1874, the Reverend of the church, scraped off some whitewash.
and found some frescos that were painted in the 15th or 16th century.
At nearby Silchester, is the remains of a Roman city
All that remains, is the walls. You can see the out lines of the roads in the fields
Walking the wall. You can more or less circumnavigate the entire city this way
Why? Aren't they working?
