| Matchmaking : Players are opposed to another player who have make a different choice. - First players taking part in the current step are placed in their world ranking order - The higgest ranked player will be matchmake with the higgest ranked player who have made a different choice for the first fight proposed. (Once all the possible matchup have been used with the first fight, we go to the second fight and again use every possibility of matchmake and then the next fight is used, etc.,). It' posible that a player cannot be matchmake, in that case, he will face TBA, and the first fight proposed will be used. Note : If there's a last minute substitution of fighter in the fight used for matchup, a replacement fight will be used instead : the first fight proposed will be used and the player will automaticaly face TBA. Points : Each player get the same result as the fighter the matchmake leave him with. Country and World rankings : The ranking are done using: # fights = shows the number of step the player played. W = Win L = Lost D = Draw K.O. = The number of K.O. or TKO Win % = First item used to set the rankings. Calculated using : ((W+(D*0,5))/# fights) So the Champ is the player with the highest winning %. If two challenger have the same winning %, the number of win and K.O. are used to separate them. Notice that: only the winning % can be used to identify the Champ. A player must have take part in at least 33% of all the step to be "officially" placed in the ranking. Player having take part in around 15% and 32% of all the step will anyway be placed in the ranking, but after all other players who have over 32%. Notice that those who would have less than 15% will be kept out of the ranking until they achieve the 15% needed. |
| How to play and join : To sign in and join the pool, you simply have to go to the forum page (after having take a look at the "fights to predicts" page) and ; - leave a message there in wich you identify the winner of every fights included in the step of the moment. - you also have to give yourself a "nick", write down the place you come from (city, state, country) and give your Email. We will, in the next days, take care of adding you to the rankings. |

| Identify the winners of the fights to predict : At every step, some fights (about 4 or 5) are included. Each player have to identify the winner of every fights included. But only one of those predictions will be used at each step (Using many fights is just a mechanism to create the most matchmake between players possible). |

| How to get a Country championship fight : A - player having take part in at least 33% of all the step AND who would, following a win, get a winning % higher then the champ, will get a title shot with the champ, to try to get the belt. B - player having take part in at least 33% of all the step AND is ranked first challenger AND is having a winning % so close to the champ that a win over the champ in a title shot would make him the new champ, will get a title shot with the champ, to try to get the belt. So there's two way (A et B) to get a title shot and try to become the champ. In those situation, mane fights will be propose to the two player, and the first fight where the challenger will have prediction opposed to the Champion will be use for the title fight. If necesary, the chalenger will have to give his choice before the Champion. If all the choice of the players are the same, the chalenger will have to change one of his to be able to play the championship fight. This way it's gonna be harder to beat the champ. When the Champ don't have to defend is title, he plays the step (if he want's to) without risking is belt. Notice that : a championship fight ending by a draw or a no contest will automatically lead to a revenge, only if the title shot was get by the A way. World Championship : The World Champ is automaticaly the player with the higgest winning % (and nacasarely a country champ). The World champ don't directly fight for this belt, he simply keep it while he have the higgest winning % and will loose it as soon as someone will get the higgest winning %. Penalty : Any player not taking part in a step where is having to be involved in a title fight will have a lost put on is record. Future of the pool : The pool may change following your comments, so don't be shy and give your idea. So it's important to come often to this page to see the new changes. There is always a "step" going on, so it's important that you come often to the site to be sure not to miss one. |
