Overview

Thank you for downloading my new version of the Airbus A340 series. It represents hard work and was completely reworked and new built. My first A340 version was built about two years ago and was not built correctly. So I tried to rework it and add some new features. Version 2.0mp features more realistic textures on the fuselage, tail and wings, animated gear and spoilers and has more night lightning effects, such as tail light, illuminated cabin windows at night and landing lights in FS98.

The Iberia Airbus A340-313 is the next of my A340 airplanes that features the new livery of Sabena. Below you will find a screenshot of my A340.

History

The A330/A340 programs were launched on 5. July 1987. Wing, fuselage and tail of both aircraft versions are not different. The cockpit of the A330/A340 is identic with the one installed in the A320 series with Fly-by-wire technology and sidesticks.

Iberia operates 8 Airbus A340. They are used for destinations to Africa, South- and Middle America, Middle Easte and the USA.

Installation for FS98

For both FlightSimulator version, please delete all previous version of this aircraft!!!

1. Be sure that Microsoft Flight Shop Converter 98 and all FS98 Patches are already installed on your system.
2. Create a sub-folder in your FS98\AIRCRAFT directory called "IB_A3403".
3. Unzip the IB34320M.ZIP archiv to the new directory.
4. All subdirectories needed will be created automatically.
