Flint Hills Muzzleloaders
Official Web Sight
Our club was founded in May of 1980.  It was founded for the purpose of "preserving our heritage", and to teach children how their forefathers lived; to promote good sportsmanship; respect for other hunters and their property and the care of and respect for weapons.

Currently, the Club located near the town of Florence, Kansas.  The property lies between the Cottonwood River and Doyle Creek where it is said that Indians once camped.  We have held a rendezvous and shooting and hawk contest at this area for five consecutive years during the Labor Day Weekend.  We will hold our sixth annual event on Labor Day Weekend in 2001 and welcome all participants and campers.  We have had an excellent response and a ton of fun!
This year the first prize for the rifle shoot will again be a rifle and there will be a daringer for first place in the pistol shooting event.  A brand new course will be set up just for pistol shooters.  Also, if there are enough musicians there will be a talent contest.  For a prize...........how about a blanket competition.
