“We are family, get up everybody and sing.”
The
people that live in my house are my
mom, my dad, and my two sisters-Shauna and Lanna. I also have a couple of fat
goldfish and a cat.
Notice
that up ahead when I was naming everyone, the first person I named was my mom.
Yes, there is a reason. She’s the dominant member of the household, and pretty
much bullies everyone around. Unfortunately, there’s only one law where I live,
and that would be my mom’s. Now, if it were my dad’s, everyone would be much
happier. My dad is a lot more lenient, and likes to joke a lot. …some people
think he’s creepy because of that, not to mention names (ha-ha). He works in
That’s
my family, and then there’s my fish that don’t do anything, and my cat who is a ho. Or, at least she acts like one. Since my cat has a
little bit more of an interesting personality than my fish, I’ll expand on her.
Moosie is a little bit younger than one year old. She’s half Persian and
Siamese, a mix of brown colors, and has really long hair. This is stereotyping,
but uh, she’s got a really flat face, so we’ve decided that she’s an Asian
kitty. Usually she’s really shy, so around strangers she likes to hide. My cat
likes to strut herself in front of you, but once you bend down to pet her, she
runs away. Then she comes back. Another one of her problems is that she never
cleans herself, so she’s got all these knots in her fur and smells bad. That’s
why she’s not my favorite cat of all the ones I've had before
Mumu
Heh… here’s my story of my past
cats. When I first got a cat, I not only got 1 cat, but two! I got two white
cats- one Persian, the other half Persian, and half Himalayan. One male, one female. The male cat was called MaoMao, and
the female cat MiMi. (If you’re Chinese, and you put it together, you should
get it.) MiMi was what you could say, an elegant cat, she was always grooming
herself and sunning herself outside; MaoMao was unfriendly, and would scratch,
but he was really pretty- pure white with a gray mark on the top of his head.
Anyways, MaoMao started marking his territory everywhere, so we sold him. About
a week after he left, MiMi had three kittens- Frisky (Shauna named), Nemo
(Lanna), and Cutie Pie (Me! I was only about 8 years old….). We sold all three,
and so only MiMi was left. After awhile, everyone decided that MiMi was getting
lonely, so we got a brown tabby cat with swirls all over her, and pink and
brown pads on her feet- MuMu. No significance about the name this time, we were
just following a pattern. This cat was a troublemaker; she’d claw everyone and
walk on the table while we were eating. But, she was kind of my cat, she liked
me the best. She’d sleep on my pillow and scratch my face when I tried to pet
her. Anyways, so we sold her too. Then, MiMi died of pneumonia on Thanksgiving
Day about 2 years ago. Because my dad was really sad, he didn’t want to replace
her, and said that we weren’t allowed to get a cat anymore- something about how
we never clean up the cat poop. But while he was away at
The
reason why the names are kind of weird is because that’s what my sisters and I
would name our stuffed animals when we were small, dinky names like Moosie, or
repeating names like MiMi, MaoMao, and MuMu. So there’s my history with cats.
Dogs are evil. Whenever I think dog, I think dog poop.
MUFASA
Even though he’s really named Sat, my family renamed him
to Mufasa. Why you might be wondering… stripes=tigers=lions=lion king. This is
the cat we catsit. Heh.
