72 Flood made their debut public performance on May 29, 1999 on "The Robert Paul Show" on Susquehanna University's WQSU 88.9FM. The band has since performed at numerous clubs, festivals, and breweries in and around PA. Along the way, the band has shared the bill with the likes of The Derek Trucks Band, Schleigho, Leo Nocentelli (of the Meters), Ulu, The Slip, Mecca Bodega, Michael Ray and the Cosmick Krewe (of Sun Ra's Arkestra), and a host of others. We would like to give a warm welcome to Nick Merena, joining us on tenor sax. His addition has added an exciting new dimension to our sound and we're looking forward to new possibilities in the future. The new album, "This is a Recording" is finished and can now be purchased at shows. The tracks are Rat Fink, El Nino, Little Red Wagon, Scrubby Hill, Agnes, Bogey Walk, Mood Swing, and Once Upon a Time in the West (Ennio Morricone).
