Topper
Topper joined the crowd in May of 1999. He was about a year old when we adopted him from the shelter and had been there for 2 months. He spent his first month in the isolation ward (the study) until he got over a small cold. Patches and Wicket would look at him through the glass doors and sometimes growl or hiss.
Topper was let out on supervised visits during the day to let all of the cats adjust to each other. Patches would retreat to the basement to avoid the new little pest. Topper eventually was allowed in the basement and it's his favorite place to be.
Topper loves to play with Patches and imitate him. There is nothing better than leaping on top of Patches which makes Patches growl and hiss. Wicket, on the other hand, is treated with much more respect. If Topper gets too close he gets batted on the nose. Even though Wicket won't play like Patches they do get along very well.
Topper thinks the scanner needs to be guarded.
